Episode 7: Promise or Threat?
Scene 1 - The Finance Department
Sathya: They're in-laws
Prabha: So?
Sathya: They're not exactly going to be the best of friends
Prabha: How was I supposed to know, I don't have in-laws. It was probably a good idea to tell me that they hate each other before pointing out their relation
Prabha and Sathya both turn and look at Prakash
Prabha jogs to him and she tells him to stop
Prabha: (to Sathya, looking at the papers on the floor) shouldn't you go and re-print the papers that are now dripping wet?
Sathya: (smiles) No
Prabha: That wasn't a question
Sathya: (moves closer to Prabha) Fine, but promise to tell me everything that happens, every word mentioned here.
Prabha: Ok
Sathya leaves
Sathya: You're leaving!
Prakash: (quiet tone) everything is so unexpected, I don't know what to do.
Prabha: Please tell me, you're not down after knowing this simple thing.
Prakash: Simple?
Prabha: Yeah, you would not believe what Sathya had to cope with.
Prabha: Sathya has already had a marriage stopped at the altar and she experienced her father's death on the same day. And if you leave now because of this lousy excuse, it's making me think that you are breaking up with her.
Prakash: This is nothing to do with my affection for Sathya. It's your GM that's the problem here.
Prabha: Gayathri will find you intolerable too. The solution is never to run away from your problem, it's always to eradicate it. Since Gayathri is your problem, you should look for ways to get her out of here.
Prakash: I only joined here today and you expect me to take down your GM?
Prabha: Sathya only joined yesterday and you won't believe the things she and I are doing. I'll assist you; we can proceed with our plan while me and Sathya attack her in a different way.
Prakash: You're right, why should I leave?
Prabha: That's the spirit
Scene 2 - MD's Office
Gayathri enters the MD's office
Gayathri takes a seat
The MD: I never told you to sit down
Gaythri stands up slowly
Gayathri: May I take a seat?
The MD: No
Gayathri is shocked
The MD: Do you realise that I'm the MD of this hotel?
Gayathri nods
The MD: Your position is lower than me yet more staff have a higher knowledge of you.
Gayathri: Yes, they have high respect for me (smiles)
The MD: Respect is earned. You have inserted fear into my workers' heart. That is not the way I want to run my company. You appear to be an obstacle to my dream.
Gayathri: It's good to have a difference.
The MD: Stop it!
Gayathri is shocked
The MD: If you cannot respect the rules I set around here Gayathri, then you do not belong here. It's time for you to leave. You're fired!
Gayathri: (stutters) Fired? Me? I didn't know what I was doing was wrong. Give me an opportunity to change. I will change.
The MD: I have expressed my decision and I'm not prepared to change.
Gayathri: There are steps to take before you fire someone. This is heavily unfair.
The MD: What do you want Gayathri?
Gayathri: A warning, an opportunity before you take a drastic action. I promise I'll change.
The MD: Ok, this is your final warning. If I see a little mistake or hear a small complaint. You're out of here. Understand?
Gayathri walks out
The MD: (angrily) Stop, you're leaving without offering me a reply.
Gayathri turns around
Gayathi: Understood
Gayathri leaves angrily

Episode 8: Raja Rani
Scene 1 - Jai Hind Villas
Gayathri enters her house
She spots Prakash sitting on the down on the sofa alone watching TV
She moves to Prakash
Gayathri: Have you shared the goods news with everyone?
Prakash remains silent
Gayathri calls everyone to the room with a smile
Gayathri: I have something to tell you that will make you glow with a smile. Prakash has a job... in my hotel. He is under my leadership and I can guarantee he will stay there for a long time.
All the members are happy for Prakash and offer their praises and luck for his future
Gayathri: (aside to Prakash) It's surprising, isn't it? I changed my mind, I want you stay there. I figured it's better for me to know that you earn less than me for definite and have you under my supervision. (Smiles) I can't wait for our office encounters.
Prakash: I won't get too excited about that I were you as it will only last for a short time.
Gayathri: Don't worry; I'll make sure your job is safe. (Smiles)
Prakash: My job will be secure for as long as I please. It is your job you need to keep an eye on. I have a feeling that the hotel will get a new GM soon. Make sure you're aware of how to pass your spare time after you get fired.
Prakash casually walks away
Gayathri remains silent and takes a seat
Gayathri: Today, the MD was on my tail and now I angered him too... (takes a pause) I better watch my step and lay low for a while. Why am I talking to myself?
Gayathri puts both of her hands over her face in frustration. She gets up and starts walking back and forth.
Gayathri: He seemed so calm and collected, but I am here blathering. I expected it to be the other way around. (Brief pause) What will he do? I need to know now, (tensed) I can't be beaten. I won't be beaten.
Scene 2 - Cinema
Sathya and Dharani enter a cinema
They approach to the ticket counter
Sathya: What film do you want to see?
Dharani: (breaks into a song) Hey Baby En Heart ta Vittu Please Konjam Poriya
Sathya: (laughs) May Some Day En Life fa Vittu Please Konjam Poriya
Dharani: Love Endraal Tom & Jerry Pola
Sathya: Life Endraal Roller Coaster Pola
Dharani: Vechene Current Mela Kaala
Sathya: Marriage Is Made In Heaven'nu Yaaru Sonna?
Sathya buys two tickets for Raja Rani
Dharani: In the film, we have Arya as the Raja and Nayanthara as the Rani. If you are the Rani in your life then who is the Raja for your kingdom, sister?
Sathya: As of yet, no-one... I'll have one after my princess gets hers
Dharani: There must be someone you like
Sathya: You'll be the first person I tell when that happens, Ok?
Dharani nods with a smile
Dharani: Stop!
Sathya: What happened?
Dharani: We forgot the popcorn
Sathya: (laughs) you made it seem like a disaster
Dharani: Oh, it is for me.
Sathya and Dharani buy two large tubs to enjoy and go inside the room
Meanwhile Prakash and Ashok approach the ticket-counter of the same cinema.
Prakash buys a ticket for Raja Rani, making a fuss over the seating so they get the two next to Sathya and Dharani of course.
As Prakash and Ashok enter the cinema hall
Prakash: We have to make this seem like an accident
Ashok: It's ironic how every small detail of this is planned yet you want to make it all an accident.
Prakash: I didn't exactly think that something like this will happen to me
Ashok: You have a prediction of how this will unfolded
Prakash: I want it to go a certain way but I can't predict Sathya's reactions.
Ashok: No, but I have a feeling that something good will come out of this.
Prakash: (smiles) we'll see how it turns out
