No consistency in Anshuman's character?

I am really confused after watching today's epi. It was a great episode though minus Anshu laughing behind Paakhi's back. I mean wasn't Anshuman shouting at Ayaan for misbehaving with Paakhi just 2 days ago? But today he was just standing there and above all smirking while Paakhi got insulted badly
Personally I adore Anshuman's character despite of all his negative traits coz he is different from all the male characters we have seen so far. But I felt this was more or less character inconsistency 😳 I really hope the PH start paying more attention to Anshuman's characterterization.
What do you guys think?

P.S: I felt really bad for Paakhi today. Infact she made me cry 😔 Shradha Aarya was brilliant 👍🏼

^^ I don't think there was any inconsistency of any sort. It's true that Anshuman was shouting at Ayaan previous episodes but I think that was because he is genuinely like that with Ayaan - also, today he also mentioned in front of Lavanya that by getting Ayaan away, he is then able to concentrate on getting Paakhi out. But it's only after Paakhi challenged Anshuman and the 15 days thing that he is glad that Ayaan hates Paakhi because then she will lose and he won't have to do anything.

It's a win-win situation for Anshuman at the moment.

Okay Anshuman is one hell of a complex person 😆
@bold: I get your point but after watching the last few episode I got the impression that finally Anshuman is changing but after today's episode it was like back to square one 🤔

That he is!😛
I really wished he was changing as well but I guess it's quite subtle his changes. The thing with Anshuman is that he has a HUGE ego problem and even if he is slightly attracted to Paakhi, his ego is even more.🤔 But I guess when Paakhi finds out the truth, he's going to regret it for sure.

Anjuman is going change...when Paakhi left...Rathod Mansion...
Felt sad for the first time when Paakhi broke down😭...( as she also a human being how long she can keep all her feelings ito herself )...but immediately

she control herself...and took firm decision...to face both Anjuman and Ayaan..

well-done Paakhi...👏

There is no change in Anjuman's character...from the beginning of the serial to now...!! After hearing decision from the Paakhi ...he is greatly relieved

Nice Post.

I think Anshuman is an Oxymoron.

Somebody had made a post where it was said that Anshuman is a thorough gentleman.

I was puzzled because gentlemen do not behave with manipulating and deceitful behaviour.

Anshuman's life goal seems to be to get rid of Paakhi by hook or by crook.

And now he seems to take pleasure in watching with a satisfied smirk while his unruly and bratty child humiliates Paakhi.

Paakhi by asking for 15 days to get Ayaan to accept her is going to be an uphill battle.

Anshuman if he keeps this up in my opinion is going to lose a lot of respect and he will lose Paakhi when she finds out that Anshuman's deceit and dishonesty has lost him the one true person who had waited for him and loved him even after he married another while he was still married to her.

If you watched the beginning he was confused, later he processed what this meant and got happy generally his initial reaction is anger (from his heart) but if he waits its an evil reaction (from his brain)

I guess Anshuman is the most consistent male lead I have seen on TV. With the general scenario being bad-boy-meets-good-girl and converting to the good guy, Anshuman has his requirements straight till now, with feelings of pure dismay every time Paakhi accomplishes a task.
I was very hopeful about the salsa dance sequence with the awestruck expressions of IK I saw on SBS but then they were just for "OMG! How did she do that!!!"
Thankfully this seems more realistic than the general TV trend of the-sweet-love-can-change-anyone thing.
Would only like to see him change after Paakhi leaves, with or without giving him an earful.

Agree on this. For Anshuman at present it is a win-win situation. He knows that Ayaan is not going to accept Pakhi as mom so easily and so he feels that he can get Pakhi out by this way and since she herself is going to walk out after she loses the challenge, he need not feel bad about it. And one thing for Anshuman being so aloof is explained today. He has been brought up in a boarding school and most probably that is one reason that he doesn't understand the family feelings and warmth of a family. I think Anshuman's mom died when he was small and his dad kept him in a boarding school. So he is very aloof and that is also one reason why he is not that good dad with Ayaan. Now he will learn how to be a good person and rediscover himself with Pakhi.
