He was not happy when that Gunda said things to Veera. He was not sure why he was feeling so put out! I think Baldev is someone who wants to be respected and he thinks that scaring and threatening people is the way to do it. What his father said about the difference between fear and respect really got to him. Even with Veera he gets mad coz she is able to outdo him and outwit him. He probably has a grudging respect for her, coz she can do this. She is someone he thinks of as a "worthy"opponent. This is why he always seeks her out, coz he enjoys interacting with her!!

However, to date even he dosen't really understand his need to seek her out. In some ways Baldev is obsessed with Veera. But this obsession will soon give way to more intense emotions. I think Karan's presence will be the catalyst for this. Veera and Baldev's changing equation will be worth watching.

My Dad is visiting me at the moment, and he saw the last bit of the final episode from last week. He saw Veera, Baldev and Karan on the rooftop. He then said "I think those two will end up together"! He meant Veera and Baldev. I told him, "yes Dad, I think so too"!! :)

The CV's really should know that VEEBA is a match made in TRP heaven!! If they have half a brain they will exploit this, and not do something lame like what they did with the Nihal Singh plot!! He was meant to be Ratan's second husband, but that never materialised!! But I really hope they don't make a similar blunder with VEEBA!! Come on CV's... Get it right this time!!

Reserved...@MrDarcy...well written and well analyzed...For Baldev,Veera is not just an obsession,but a habit also...that's why he always behaves like a smartass with her...he always wants to win over her...Respect is something which he holds above anything...whether that's Veera or the pind-waasi...He believes that he has an unsaid authority over Veera,like he has over all the pind waasi...thats why when Veera out wits him,he can't take it,when Ranvi says that he has no right over Veera,he feels offended..and seeing her with Karan,whom she is buddy with,is all the more infuriating as all her attention is on Karan...so kuch hai bhi,aur kuch nahi bhi...

I'm sure all the fans are asking for VeeBa, so I hope they're together.. I guess either one of them will fall in love (possibly Baldev) and that love might change him.. Then he'll win over Veera,and it'll take alot of drama to convince the family, just a guess.. anyway, I hope that VeeBa are together soon..

VeeBa should happen... they have such an awesome chemistry... i've come across not even a single person whose rooting for Karan- Veera... so i'm hoping that cvs will not disappoint us.
