Thanks 😃 I was planning to mention a scene from a Tamil movie but I couldn't think of such scenes in a movie and I suddenly remembered Arshi. Problem solved. 😆

Episode 6: Face 2 Face

Scene 1 - The Finance Department

Both Prakash and Gayathri are shocked at seeing the other.

Sathya gets herself up

Sathya: (to Prakash) this is our GM, Gayathri

Sathya turns to Gayathri

Sathya: (to Gayathri) Ma'am this is...

Gayathri: Prakash

Sathya: Oh, you already know him

Prakash: I think we are well past the acquaintance' stage

Sathya: Friends?

Gayathri gives an angry look to Sathya

Gayathri advances to Prakash

Gayathri: What a wonderful surprise, now you can work under me as well as spending your time at home following me too. All the challenges you give me seem so childish now. (Smiles)

Prakash thinks

Prakash: I chose to come here so you can literally see me climb over you.

Gayathri: The only way you can earn more than me is to take the MD's seat. (Sarcastically) Good luck with that.

Prakash: You earning less than me would do the job just as fine.

Gayathri: So, you think you can get me unemployed (laughs)

Prakash: That's my plan

Gayathri: (angrily) Look Prakash, this is your first and last week here along with your (looks past Prakash at Sathya) girlfriend.

Prakash: Your speciality is to say more than you can handle.

Gayathri: This will happen! Let's see who succeeds

Prakash: We'll know soon...

Gayathri rushes back to her cabin

Sathya is shell-shocked as Prakash takes a seat quietly and hastily.

Scene 2 - MD's Office

Prabha enters

The MD: Come in Prabha

Prabha: Um...

The MD: I'm guessing you are here to retrieve the budgetary analysis.

Prabha: Yes sir

The MD: Sathya left before I realised that she forgot to take this.

Prabha: (hesitatingly) I was just wondering on how stable my current position is.

The MD is surprised

The MD: You are the most experienced staff in this hotel. You would be sitting in Gayathri's chair if you accepted my offer. To this day, I don't know what I would have done without you.

Prabha: You're exaggerating my part

The MD: No, I'm recalling the truth. It's you that make your contribution seem small. I think I know the reason behind your question.

Prabha: I was just curious

The MD: No, that is just to blanket the true source which I know is Gayathri

Prabha: (unconvincingly) No, it was just a small doubt I had

The MD: Your doubt may have cleared but my problem with Gayathri isn't solved

Prabha: What's your problem?

The MD: I don't like her working here at all. Now that we have two strong recruits I think it is best that I fire her.

Prabha: You don't sound too confident

The MD: Yes, she might be a good worker for the hotel directly but indirectly she is controlling so many people. I feel that without her presence, the output of our hotel will overall increase.

Prabha: I can't disagree with that. Want me to call her?

The MD: No, you can continue with your work. I'll handle it. She either changes her rude attitude or clears her cabin this instant.

Prabha leaves

Prabha joins the couple - Prakash is sitting angrily while Sathya is looking at him quietly.

Prabha: What happened here? (Looking at the papers on the floor)

Sathya: (whispers) did you know that our GM is Prakash's sister-in-law.

Prabha: What?

Sathya: (whispers) Sister, sister, sister-in-law

Prabha: (to Prakash) oh, so this is the reason why the MD appointed you so instantly? We have to be careful around you now.

Prakash storms out...

I haven't started constructing it but I have three dialogues which will be somewhere within the episode... 😉

Prabha: Sathya has already had a marriage stopped at the altar and she experienced her father's death on the same day. And if you leave now because of this lousy excuse, it's making me think that you are breaking up with her.

Prabha: Gayathri will find you intolerable too. The solution is never to run away from your problem, it's always to eradicate it. Since Gayathri is your problem, you should look for ways to get her out of here.

The MD: If you cannot respect the rules I set around here Gayathri, then you do not belong here. It's time for you to leave. You're fired!
