Didn't Yudhishthir tell lies during agyatvas?

Yudhishthir is said to have been truthful. But how did he spend one year in king Virat's palace without telling any lies? All the five brothers and also Draupadi disguised their identities. How could Yudhishthir pull it off without telling any lies?

His claim of being a minister/councillor to Yudisthir, as Kanka, was clearly a lie. As was his claim about Ballav, Dharmagranthi & Tantripala also fighting for Yudisthir's army while being cooks, stable boys & cowherds.

it was his dharma to hide his identity at that time because he had to live 1 year in hiding as per the rules in the game of dice.
I don't think It was a sin because the reason to lie was the rules of the game

in the kurukshetra war he had spoken a half lie because ashwathama the elephant had died not the man.. in anyway it was a lie which led to drona's death so its considered to be only sin in his life

I also don't think he did any wrong telling lie in agyatvas...after all its agyatvas...without lie no one can hide...one have to hide his actual identity...😛

That's right! This particular lie can't be considered a sin because it didn't harm anyone and was clearly under the rules.
