Vin Diesel is Hollywood's Salman Khan, says newcomer Ali Fazal

Says newcomer Ali Fazal who recently shot for the film i>Fast and Furious 7 with the star.

Actor Ali Fazal, who was seen as the quiet poet in Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's Fukrey, has shot with Vin Diesel (in inset) for the next instalment of Fast & Furious franchise.

Sharing the experience Ali says, "I shot for Fast & Furious 7 in Atlanta in Georgia mainly with Vin Diesel. He is the Salman Khan of Hollywood. I came away with tremendous respect for him. He is so professional and humble."

Ali says he enters the plot only for a few scenes. "I've a guest appearance. But I shot with the whole Fast & Furious gang. Besides Vin Diesel, Nathalie Emmanuel, Paul Walker, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez were also in the scenes that I shot. But my shots were mainly with Diesel. This time Kurt Russell and Jason Strathom are also on board. So the cast was even more formidable and therefore even more challenging and more fun to shoot with."

Ali says it was a learning experience for him. "They were all awesome. They are one entertaining bunch of professionals. I had a crackerjack of a time with them." He informs that he still has some work left in the film.

Now Ali is back in India to play Vidya Balan's male lead in Bobby Jasoos. The unassuming actor with an interesting roster of roles so early in his career says, "I just want to fill the alphabets between B for Bollywood and H for Hollywood and form a sentence that makes sense to the entire world's movie-making fraternity. I've just made a small start."
