Is Sanjay Dutt really a terrorist?

Guys I am not very familiar with his court case, I dont live in India and I didnt know what happened exactly in the bombay bombings. Does anyone know why he was convicted in the first place, and why he spent a year and a half in prison if he didnt do anything wrong. My mom told me that he hangs around a lot with the underworld, so that is why they suspect him. Is it true that his friends are from the underworld. My mom also tells me that the reason no one can go against him is because his friends from the underworld are dangerous and nobody wants to get in trouble. I was surprised with Hrithik Roshan's show of support for Sanjay Dutt, because I remember his father getting shot by the members of the underworld for not giving into their demands. So wouldnt it be natural for Hrithik Roshan to be generally weary of anyone who is connected to them.

I dont know guys does anyone know the real truth behind his alleged involvement in terrorism.

I dont know if he is a terrorist or not..but he was arrested cuz he had illegal arms on him during the time of crisis in mumbai in 1992. He should have been smart enough to NOT accept arms from hardcore terrorist people..NOBODY CAN BE SO NAIVE!

so it is not true that his friends are from the underworld. because i saw it in the news as well, that he has bad influence in his life. i am not sure maybe he got involved with them due to the drugs and things got out of hand. so he had illegal arms, that means you go to prison for a year and a half. but how many guns do you need to protect yourself, isnt one enough.

Personally meeting Abu salem...and talking on the phone with dawood..comeon! His dad was a politician at the time, he shoulda known betta..that even talking to people like them could get him in trouble.. and this smart guy, personally met them and also possessed arms like AK47

give the guy a break people he was convicted years ago and now has been cleared of the terrorist label. yeah he had illegal arms and its not exactly the smartest thing 2 do but at least he's not involved in the death and destruction caused in the mumbai bomb blast

yeah i guess it is natural to be skeptical. because the bombay underworld has such a strong foothold in the film industry. it is such a dubious thing to carry around AK47.

Well he was accused to having a hand in the bombings... and that is why he went to jail but his name was cleared of that... also he did have guns in his possession that were illegal... however, you also have to take into consideration that from last 10 to 12 years he has never done anything to go against the law...so if he was involved in anything at any time he has cleaned up now... like he used to be a drug addict but then cleaned up...so we can't still call him a drug addict...he fought back and got his life back... I think he should serve as an insipiration to people to never give up ... and sometimes we get into the wrong things but that does not mean we can't get out of them...

yah if sanjay dutt truely has reformed in his ways he should teach salman khan how to do that, because he still seems to be getting in trouble with the law.

Well I think you got ur answer...and I wish people would quit hating him for that..it was long time ago...and he got the guns for protection...he didn't hurt anyone with 'em...it's a stupid decision but he payed his dues for it..

I really like Sanjay Dutt, no matter what people said. I think doing a lot of Munna Bhai, poeple made Sanju really Muna Bahhi, which I really dont beielve. I dont live in India I Live in GA, USA, I saw one day the news that Sanju was between 100000 police and he was kind of arrested. I asked the man that what he did and he replied that Sanju is a bad person in India. which I really dont believe. I really like him specailly when he is doing comedy like Muna bahi, Hassena Man jaygi, ek or ek 11,and the new one Nehle pe dehla. I want him to do 10000000 movies like him and I want him to be among other successful actors. I love him 😛
