I'd like to give notice that there aren't going to be any more long Effusive Elizabeth postings. I take the flight out of Bombay tonight back to the cold NorthWest and miss tonight's episode of KYPH, all future episodes of KYPH in all probability. Several of you were kind enough to encourage me in my mad writing. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I realised very early that my "junoon" with KYPH would have not been if not for this forum. It was all of you who really created the obsession. (Especially magicians like Nomi, and infinitely generous souls like Memsaab and Princess1_43.)
I'd like to be able to tell you what a pleasure it's been for me experiencing KYPH-IF. But I don't have words that are nice enough, so I'll steal them instead.
Of all the things addictive about this beloved forum, the best thing was that people listened as much as people talked; were open to changing your own minds as much as trying to change my mind. :-) This openness to "Both Sides" is seriously cool about all of you.
Joni Mitchell, who is a _True_Rockstar_, sang a song called "Both Sides Now". (BTW, AK is _not_ a Rockstar; he's at best a Popstar. You don't know how good it is to get that off my chest!!)
I'd like dedicate her song to all of you, even though it's not mine! It's rather heartbreakingly wonderful, so I'd recommend digging it out for a hearing.
Until I sign on again, I wish you all the greatest fun in life.
(BTW, wave if you see a KYPH-IF T-shirt in an airport -- it might be me! I tend to be invariably late for every flight; but perhaps once I will not be? :-) )

Both Sides Now (by Joni Mitchell)
---------------------------------
Rows and flows of angel hair
Ice cream castles in the air
Feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way
But now they only block the sun
They rain, they snow on everyone
So many things I would have done
But clouds got in my way
I've looked at clouds
From both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud's illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all
Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancin' way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way
But now it's just another show
Leave 'em laughing when you go
And if you care, don't let them know
Don't give yourself away
I've looked at love
From both sides now
From win and lose, and still somehow
It's love's illusions I recall
I really don't know love at all
Tears and fears and feeling proud
To say "I love you" right out loud
Dreams and schemes and circus crowds
I've looked at life that way
But now old friends
They're acting strange
Shake their heads
And say I've changed
Well something's lost
But something's gained
In living every day
I've looked at life from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
