Swayam: Needs an Epiphany. Soon.

So I will not get into details of the inconsistencies in Swayam's characterisation lately, a lot has been said of it already and dwelling on it again will only make us all sadder, me included. Let it suffice to say that there are times when this Swayam feels like a different person altogether. Which brings me to the the point of this post: sure, there are gaps and certain contradictions in his character that really hurt. But these are not irreversible and irremediable. The basic fact of the matter being that this is a TV show, fiction is by definition someone's creation and is born out of someone's mind. That being the case, this is a story that is also being written as we go along. So, if this fictional creation can have loopholes it also comes equipped for them to be set right. It might not actually take more than a single moment of epiphany to turn things around and get Swayam back to who he originally is, and to get SwaRon moving again. And I say this as a viewer who has been watching this love story stagnating like nobody's business at the exact same place for months now. Sure, they broke up; sure there was good reason for Swayam to be hurt like never before. But do I get the continuity between that and him suddenly deciding to become judgemental about Sharon and wanting to change her? Um, no. Because his character was designed a certain way, and us having watched and followed him through nearly three years, these things really jar. To make him lie to Rey, pick on Sharon's faults when he has no answer to her questions...this is not the Swayam we have known. And I genuinely think the damage is repairable, and without too elaborate an effort. So I, for one, am really hoping that a moment of epiphany comes Swayam's way and he regains his full form as the character he is meant to be. And I want SwaRon and their storyline to move. Really, MOVE. And hopefully towards a patch up. It has honestly been long enough.

Swayam wants to change Sharon,thats like the brutal murder of his character already,but like u said its a fiction and we watch a show for entertainment above all i believe,so instead of pushing viewers away from the show by showing this gloomy phase cvs should take an initiative to make it a bit spicy and entertaining for the betterment of the show..Damage has been done to this particular character,so the damage control should also start soon before its too late..SwaRon story is already filled with complexities,so y encourage it more?I am literally craving for some proper romance between these two,and i think its not too much to expect for,considering the fact that we have been extremely patient..Scared of being hopeful these days,still hope cvs are listening,and they will patch them up soon..

I am really disappointed with Swayam. I really am. Swayam is no more the Swayam I loved. He lies to Rey, believes in Kria without even knowing the reason apparently, doesn't have an answer for Sharon's questions and what not!! Swayam's character is turning haywire since the past two weeks and this is giving me really negative vibes.. I know staying positive would be better because at the end Swayam will return to his original self but how much more? How much more destruction has to be brought to the same person who once upon a time missed his lady love when she was unwell?? Who yearned to be with Sharon Rai Prakash? Who vowed to make her fall in love with him? Am I seeing Shantanu portraying the same guy? I guess no. 🤔

The Damage to Swayam's Character is reversible and remediable ONLY If the writers give a thought to it and don't just leave it with "what-was-shown-was-shown" and proceed with the story... Like they have done about the hiding issue(which was cleared for the other story but It is left untouched for SwaRon side)

Its like watching a new Swayam who is altogether different from what we saw since the start of the show. I agree things have changed in his life, he is hurt and is apprehensive, but what about the urge to lead his own life? thought about his love-life? He is shown so detached and one cannot see him even thinking about what exactly he feels about Sharon. Where is Swayam who couldn't even stop himself thinking about Sharon? I agree he is upset with her, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care about her. Where is Swayam who used to think rationally and take decisions accordingly? He is much more than what he is shown these days.

Swayam, being my favourite character, the one who laid the foundation for the start of SwaRon lovestory is being neglected in the past 2-3 weeks, I'm expecting much more from this character. He is a gem and should be handled accordingly. If portrayed properly with adherence to his basic character and addition of some other attributes, I'm sure it won't do any harm to the show. But butchering his character is definitely ruining things for us, butchering of his character is like butchering SwaRon story and eventually disappointing us, the viewers who watch the show just for Swayam and Sharon.

I really really hope things are mended asap, I'm sure the show would reach new heights like never before, if only the abovementioned things are taken into consideration

Agree with u...Swayam is not completely lost we can still hope for his comeback... hope we get our swayam back

it really hurts to say but Swayam from a special person has being turned into trash !
