Potterism that's the disease we all have?????????????

Potterism ~~It's a disease

So guys this week lets discuss abt Potterism!!!!~~the disease!!😆

Do u look outta window 4 owl posts or search the skies at night for flying cars?

Do u wish 4 wand to curse yr enemies when they get on yr nerves?

Do u call bad spells under yr breath at yr enemies half wishing that they turn real???

Do u wish to make yr teachers hair blue b'cuz she insulted u in front of the whole class??

Do u find yrself comparing yrself and others to any HP characters???

Do u compare yr friends loyalty to that of the trio????

Have u tried going past a solid wall on a station wishing u land up on platform 9 ??

Do u go really mad if someone says anything bad abt harry potter and make a mental note that u wont ever talk to that person ??

Do u take insult to harry potter as yr own insult???

Do u persuade people to read harry potter ????

If yes than yr suffering from an ever lasting disease called POTTERISM!!!!!!!!!!!

I ahve been suffering from it right from when i was in class 4 when i ahd actually started reading harry potter..and even nw when i am leaving school i still have it.....
I dnt look outside teh window for owl post but always wish...is i cud have been a part of hogwarts.......and teh thing i crave the most is Felix Felices 😛 ...and that also during my exams......wish i cud have drop of it evryday...... 😛

Its a very interestin topic griffy 😃

I truely suffer from Potterism 😳 From wishing a wand to muttering spells under my breath 😆 I do a lot of these things😃

Let me share with u all, a few instances 😃

The Potter Bug bit me while i was in Class 8. I had borrowed the books from my friends and read them. During the holidays b/w class 8 and 9. I spend a good amount of money to buy the whole series.

Then when i was in class 9 which was in 2005, I befriended a HP fanatic who today is my best friend in school 😃

On 16th July of the same year, HP and the HBP was released. I forced my dad to get up early in the morning and get the book frm the bookshop. He was the 2nd person to buy the book from that place.

On 18th November 2005, GoF relesed but due to my Unit Tests I couldnt see it earlier. So, I saw it on 10th Dec. I wanted to see it with my friends but all my friends ditched me at the last momement But i was sooooooooo desperate that I took my mom, who does not like HP all that much, to see the film 😆

At that movie, I bugged the Popcorn guy to give me Gof ke posters. I bugged him soooooooooooooo much that i got 9 posters 😆 😆 😆 I still have them but I never put them on the wall or anything.

There r many more instances that shows wat a HP freak i am. I sometimes mutter HP spells, I tap my pencil as if it were a wand and say spells alongwith it 😳

Well i think I better stop pr else if i go on, u will think Manny ran from a loony bin 😆 😆 😆

Well...I have been a potterholic since a long long time...since 10 years..I remember the day very very well too

It was one helluva day 😉 It was raining heavily n there was almost a storm n the big tree beside my house had fallen blocking the road completely..all in all it was a very exciting sort of day...

N in all that...I left home to get the first HP book...n tell u what..at first I used to think that the HP series was some sort of joke books!!! 😆 😆 😆

N after getting the book...I didn't put it down till it was time to sleep...

N then I completed the whole 3 books...n then started waiting for GoF. I took the book from the library after jeckling the librarian for all 2 weeks previously..
N I returned the book after 1 whole month! 😆 😆 😆
Man...wa the lib man maddddddd 😆 😆 😆

N then...in 9th std..I got OotP as a gift from my sis on the 1st day of release in the evening...n I read OotP all through the night! that was my record! 😆 😆 😆 HBP I took it in the day n read it all day n finished it in 9-10 hrs flat!

Well...I'm extremely offended whenever any1 says anythng offensive abt HP...my jiju teases me n my sis abt this a lot.. 😆 😆

I made 2-3 wands from wood sticks n wave them around 😉
N I collect crow feathers(no eagles here ) wash them n then use them for writing letters for my friends..I even hv taken red ink for that..I still hv 2 take the green one 😳 N I'm searching for parchment...any1 has it..please give it to me!

And whenever I'm on my house's terrace..I get this strong urge to fly...if only I had a broomstick..I imagine how it must be if only I could fly! I spend hours thinking about it on my terrace! 😳

potterism... i contracted that disease when i was in 6th grade... that was
the year GoF was released... i saw a classmate reading it in class and a
few weeks later, i had my dad buy me the entire set... books 1-4...

i remember having exams at that time and dance practice cuz i was
gonna dance at the diwali ball... and i would bring sorcerer's stone
everywhere until i didnt finish it... at night, my mom would turn the light
off in my room and would tell me to go to sleep cuz i had classes the next
day but i would get a flash light and read the books under my blanket...
my grades fell really badly at that time... i used to be top1 in class but
because i ignored my studies. i fell to top 5... hehe

then when i was in 7th grade, the first movie was released and i
memorized almost all the lines and i would go around the classroom
repeating them over and over again

when OotP was released, i stayed outside the book shop until they
opened it and i started reading in the car on the way home... i didnt care
about eating, i didnt care about going out... i just had to finish the book!

the second movie, i watched it in the theater twice... once on the opening
day and once with my friends...

the third movie, i got in trouble cuz i kept complaining out loud about
how the sequence was wrong and how so many things were cut out...

i remember watching the first two movies the day before my cuzins and i
were gna watch PoA and i kept saying the lines and my cuzin bit me on
my arm and my arm was swollen until the next day

then HBP came out and i locked myself up in my room and refused to talk
to anyone until i didnt finish reading it because i didnt want anyone to
spoil the ending for me cuz wen i was reading OoTP, my friend called me
and told me that sirius died and i was sooo mad at him for doing that...

GoF movie... i watched it 4 times... 4 days in a row in the theater... the
day the movie was released, it was a wednesday, we didnt have classes
and i went to the mall to get tickets really early in the morning and luckily
they had tickets... then i had reserved tickets for the next day, thursday,
so i watched it with my family... then on friday, it was my friend's bday
and she treated us to a movie and dinner... guess what we watched?
GoF... then on saturday, i was bored so i made my friends watch it with
me again... hehe

before GoF came out, there were magazines that included posters of the
movie and one magazine had a poster that was back-to-back so i bought
2 copies so i could put up both sides of the poster...

i own 3 copies of SS, 3 copies of CoS, 2 copies of PoA, 4 copies of GoF, 2
copies of OoTP and 2 copies of HBP... i have a reading set and i have a set
that's covered with plastic so it doesnt get damaged...

i think you cud say i've greatly affected by this disease

oh and i forgot... i've had numerous arguments with people who say
anything against harry potter...

So thhis is one disease no one wannna get rid of 😉 😆
lemme share my symptoms 😆 😆
i get highly offended when people hate harry potter
i have persuaded many people who are H-P crazy now into reading HP 😆 😆
i and my potter crazy friends even started a duelling club we had passwords tho it was long time back 😆 😆 😆 and we even tried making wands 😆
i seiously wish i was in hogwarts( what fun it would be 😉 )
i have even compared people with HP characters
and i have like shouted at so many people 4 telling bad abt HP
and once like it was a party and u kno like someone offended dumbledore saying ..... w/e and i went really mad and i spoke there for almost 1 hour telling abt greatness of dumbledore 😳 😆 and all were staring at me (eh?? whats up with this girl??)
they didn't kno i was suffering from potterism (high stage 😆 )
i have been a fan for abt 4 years i read the 1st book in 6th grade and b4 that i never read books but then my friend showed me Harry potter(bless that person) and i became potter addict or say potterism patient 😆
well i better stop now or i'll go on 😆 😆 😆

Yea I suffer from Potterism..Have been suffereing since i was in 6th grade...My friend was in a hurry, because we only had a few more minutes in the library, and she needed a bok for class, any book, so she picked upthe first abailable thing and it turned out to be teh first harry potter book!

She began reading it in class and after erading only two pages she asked if i wanted to trade...Feeling bad for her I said yes...and till this day i feel that was the best decision of helping a person i ever made!

Like Manshi, I wave my pencil around, saying spells like Wingardium Leviosa and look intently for any movement!

When im mad at someone, i try saying a spell, and again watch for any sign.

Some times at night when were sitting in our backyard, i look at the sky filled with stars,a nd think if there is a realy world like HP, I wish i was in ther, the magic,a nd everythign!

Soemtimes my brothers and sisters just to get me mad, they go mahak hates harry potter! and they call me the most craziest HP fan ever!

When someone insults harry potter i feel like they have insulted me, and who I am. And i go around camparing characters, like if i hear something funny, i try comparing it with anything fred, goerge or Ron have said!

And i should tell you, HP has made me who I am. In skewl when mad, I dont say stupid, and stuff like that, i call them gits and prats, and when i think somehting is smart, i say thats bloody brilliant. And i say blimely alot too!

Okay, now im ganna stop otherwise you ppl willt hink ok mahak has lost it!

Yeah...Thats so common!! For example there are twins called Ayaz and Waqas in our skool and i find them totally like Fred and George Weasely! They always stick together, are the coolest guys of the skool, totally phadde baaz, and most of all the most mischevious people in skool! They are ones who play tricks on teachers and all...😉

even my parents have started reading hp just because i was saying how interesting the book is and how dark the plot is ..
and i am sure that i can proudly say that i made many of my friends read hp and i happy to tell guys that they are hard core hp addicts now 😆
