VEDIKA, (Achint Kaur), is almost the same age as Vasudha, but completely different. While Vasudha is demure, Vedika is an alcoholic, unsteadily tottering from hangover to hangover and boyfriend to boyfriend. She is her father's worst critic and never misses a chance to hurt him by her blunt statements. The reason behind her bitter and cold behaviour is the fact that Dhirendra Raisinghaniya did not allow her to marry the man she loved. Achint Kaur is a known name on television.
