Its been so long since I came by this section....

JJKN was a fine show say some. Kaajal is a fine show say others.

I watched JJKN, quite regularly till they mauled Purab Mehra and killed his character, and if you ask me, in my opinion, the show could have been far better than what it was eventually. But then, thats my opinion and no JJKN fan is going to like it.....

Kaajal is a new show, its a different genre of show and is as different from JJKN as chalk is to cheese.

So why are we comparing two shows.

Tina, if you havent seen Kaajal, how do you know that it is not as good as JJKN 😳 I mean, you can compare only if you put them on par... isnt it. U put JJKN on a pedestal and then compare it with a show which you havent watched at all... is that fair 😳

Thats excatly my point . I dont watch Kaajjal and I dont want to watch it and at the same time dont want my fav serial to be comapared to it .Its very simple . Never did i say that Kaajjal was bad or inferior, all i said was JJKN was by far one of the best serial I have ever seen in television and I dont want it to be compared to any other serial .

we all agree on the point that it shouldnt be compared , the only difference being some dont want it to be compared coz they like both the serials , while some dont want it to be compared coz they dont watch one and dont want their fav serial to be compared to another serial (which can be said abt people who watch Kaajjal and havent seen JJKN )

Sequel to JJKN without Purab Mehra is like Pride and Prejudice without Mr. Darcy!

Anyways, Sony may be ripping scenes, but thats the channels prerogative... sometimes, it is pure economy, they may have paid an x amount to buy the copyrights for that scene and havent recovered its full value, so they use the same shot or same sequence in different shows to recoup the loss or write off the expense 😃

Anyways, critisizm is good and must be encouraged, but just take care not to hurt the sentiments of other fans... they like apu both here and in Kaajal, there are some who like only Kaajal... we can avoid fights...

Er...Umm..Do people get REALLY offended for simply saying that one show was rehashing and recycling old ideas 😕 ...Oh well,I shouldnt be forgetting that at one point,I was equally crazed,if not several notches more about a mere television show,and couldnt tolerate any minor criticism against the show,let alone any major accusations..Though in retrospect,it all seems very very juvenile,and makes me wonder how one could be so involved with a mere bit of fiction...But I have to admit,JJKn was one of the best soaps to have graced the tube,atleast it had a novel concept,which was ofcourse botched up by the makers mid way..Yet still,it remains to be better than the current serials,ALL of them which suck with a capital S_U_C_K,all which looks like clones of the other...I take the liberty to reckon that this opinion be construed and respected as a mere OPINION,as I've learnt it the hard way that it becomes extremely embarrassing to know that one has,in the past,harboured extreme views (bordering on fanatical) about a subject which eggs one on to be extremely defensive and scornful ,and later repentant😊
