T he actor who made headlines during his stint with Bigg Boss (Sony) wants to return to the small screen. Model turned actor Aryan Vaid says, "I owe a lot to television." "My show Campus (Zee) helped me to get noticed as an actor. Of course, Bigg Boss consolidated my foothold in the TV fraternity. I got offers from pro- ducers like Karam Apnaa Apnaa (Star Plus) and Durgesh Nandinii (Sony). But I was quite hesitant till the last moment. Now, I want to take part in dance-based shows like Nach Baliye or try out anchoring." Of late, the actor has been busy with his film assign- ments; "After Bigg Boss, I've been liv- ing in Pune. I trav- el to Mumbai only when I'm required for my film shoots. I want to experi- ence serenity for some time." Does he consider himself more of an actor or a model? "I consider myself lucky to have graduat- ed from modelling to acting successfully. I have modelled for more than six years. Now I'm con- centrating on my acting. You can call me an actor now." Ask him about his much talked about liaison with Anupama Verma and he says, "No com- ments." And he laughs, "I worry that if I ever take part in a show like Nach Baliye, I would find a part- ner. That should give you a fair idea of my love life."
