Ratna asks Anand whether he will marry her, he says yes, but seems a little unsure. Pia comes to the mall to buy a gift and a card for Anand, where she bumps into Akash. Akash tells Pia about his wife meanwhile, Anand is thinking whether he has done the right thing by agreeing to marry Ratna. Pia keeps the card and the gift at Anand's house. While putting a ring in Anand's finger, Ratna notices Pia's ring, which Anand has not removed still.

Pia's father tells her that she must move on and that she can't live with Mohan and Sara all her life. Ratna tells Samaya that she's going to stay with Anand in Mumbai. Ratna assures Samaya that Pia is okay with this fact. Ratna and Anand come to Mumbai, Anand finds a card and gift kept by Pia at home. Anand goes to meet Pia. Pia sees Ratna's ring in his finger and asks him whether he's engaged to her. Pia asks Anand to return her ring.

Gita asks Akash to join her for dinner because she wants to introduce him to her new friend. While waiting at the restaurant, Pia confides in Gita. Gita consoles Pia by assuring her that the worst is over, and that life will always go on. Gita tells Pia that she'll finally be able to introduce her to her destiny man. Just then Anand and Ratna walk in. Ratna, Pia and Anand face each other.

Pia asks Ratna how can she allow Anand to wear two rings on her finger. He'll have to return one of the rings. Gita tells Akash that her friend's husband and the other woman are there. Akash is shocked to see Pia and wonders whether she's Gita's friend. Akash comes and meets Anand and Anand gets a little uncomfortable. He chides Ratna for interrupting their conversation. Ratna leaves. Pia calls up Karan and tells him that she's coming on the school trip. Ratna and Anand have a fight over the ring and she asks him to return the ring and in the process Anand hits her.

Anand is in thoughts wondering what is Akash doing with Pia. Ratna comes and apologises. Pia's father says that its high time that move forward and if she ever needed him she should just call him. Karan and Vasu have a fight, Vasu slaps him and he slaps her back. Pia, her mother in law tells her she's going on the school trip. Pia and Reah strike up a great rapport, without knowing each other's identity. Akash tells her father that he is in love with Pia and wants to marry her. Mother tells Anand that Pia has gone on a school trip arranged by the office. Just then Pia's father comes and tells Anand that his daughter has decided to move ahead in life and he supports her on this.

Reah falls ill on the trip, Pia takes care of her and in the process they become friends. Sara tells her father that Pia should divorce. Anand Mohan objects and Sara, Mohan end up fighting. Palomi is dressed to go out. Anand disapproves of the way she's dressed and gets angry with her. Waseem postpones his trip to London and tells Samaya that Anand will not leave Pia. Karan and Pia are having a candlelight dinner. Pia confesses that she always loved him but could not do anything about it as she was married. Anand gets up and is about to call Pia when he sees Ratna standing in front of him.

Anand asks Ratna what is she doing in his house. Just then Pia calls up Anand and Ratna leaves. Akash is packing his bags to go and see Reah who is ill on the trip when Rajiv and Gauri tell him that Reah is fine. Anand and Ratna are having lunch when Pia calls up again and Anand moves to a corner to talk to her Ratna doesn't like it. They have an argument. Akash tells Rajiv and Gauri that hes not ready for marriage. Pia and Karan are alone when he questions Pia on her marital status.
