Whenever I see an article of Amar or Shakti or ArSha on Newspapers...I am so happy n dancing

She shot to fame after winning the second season of 'Dance India Dance'. After doing a dance number in 'Tees Maar Khan' followed by 'Aa Re Pritam Pyare' in 'Rowdy Rathore', Shakti Mohan is back in action on the tube in the same show she debuted on TV with, 'Dil Dosti Dance' (D3). Break from TV D3 is a fantastic show but I had to quit it because my track was getting over. I went to New York to perform at an international event. It was a very big moment for me. Then I was training in Broadway dance for two months. I recently came out with my second dance calendar and was also touring with AR Rahman across India for his concerts. I've just made a comeback on the show and my (re)introduction track has me as a girl who's returning from New York. Unfortunately, a lot of our old cast are not in the show anymore. Kunwar (Amarjeet Singh) and I started our careers together with this show and he is an awesome dancer. We are very comfortable with each other and it's wonderful to be back.
Bollywood dreams I assisted Vaibhavi (Merchant) in 'Dhoom 3' and have done item numbers in Subhash Ghai's next as well as with a big production house's next. I am not looking at Bollywood for a career but if an opportunity comes, I'll not say 'no'. I am not looking at B'wd for a professional career in choreography at the moment, maybe as an actor. Choreography is not on my mind right now because I enjoy performing more. Maybe 10 years later I might take up choreography. I was also offered Jhalak as a choreographer but I did not take it up because I wanted to perform live. My life changed a lot after winning DID-2. I am recognized everywhere I go and now have a lot of connections in the entertainment industry. I recently also shot an ad for a gadget in Agra. I am blessed to get so many opportunities.
My sisters, my strength My sisters are my pillars of strength. We come from a completely non-showbiz family in Delhi where no one ever ventured into the entertainment industry before us. Neeti (Mohan) struggled the most and she made things much easier for us. She is like my Godmother.
