Aarav:Mumma,why have you covered your head with shawl?
G:I just had a make over.I shaved my head.
She removed her shawl.
G:How is my bald look?
Aarav:Yuck!Baldness does'nt suit you.You look like a cancer-brain tumour patient.
Maan,Geet,Vicky,Apeksha and Savitri felt hard to suppress their pain.
A:Why did you shave your head mumma?
Ap:Aarav,Geet is modern.That's why she cut her hair.Now she looks sexy.

Aarav went out.
G:Aarav,whre are you going?

Maan and Apeksha held her.

Geet wiped her tears.

After some time Aarav came back.He brought some wigs.
Geet:Wigs?
A:Yes.My mumma should not look ugly.You should look the best.That's why I bought these wigs.You wear which ever wig you like.
Geet became emotional and hugged Aarav.
Geet wore wig.Aarav,Maan,Apeksha,Vicky and Savitri smiled.


After a few days...

Everyone got ready to attend a wedding function.
Savitri:Geet,you take rest.We will come back soon.
G:Ok Dadimaa.
Maan:I will sit with Geet.
G:Maan...Vicky has gone for a meeting.You need to be with them.Otherwise who will drop them?
M:But how can I leave you alone and go?
G:Maan,don't be scared.You all will be back in a few hours.Nothing is going to happen with me.And I am not alone.Aarav is here.So go.

Geet fell asleep.

She cried loudly.Aarav came running hearing her cry.
A:Mumma!


He held her:What happened mumma?
Geet was not able to speak.
He rushed to the hospital with her.
Aarav was scared.After some time the doctor came.
A:Dr.Ashutosh,how is mumma?
Ashu:For ime being she is ok.But...
A:But?What happened to mumma?
Ashu:You don't know anything?

Ashu:I can't believe that being Geet's son you don't know that she is suffering from brain tumour.
Aarav was shocked:Brain tumour?
Aarav cried bitterly.

Maan,Apeksha,Vicky and Savitri came running to the hospital.
Maan:Aarav...how is mumma?
Vicky held his hand and cried:Dad...why did'nt you tell me that mumma is having brain tumour?
Everyone wept silently realizing that the truth which they did'nt want Aarav to know has been known by him.
Vicky thought:How much Aarav cares for Geet.Their love is great.Now it's almost clear that Geet is Aarav's real mother.
Vicky took a long breath.

Maan and Aarav entered ICU.Geet was lying there without hair.
Aarav cried holding Geet's hand:Mumma...you cut your hair for treatment?Why did'nt you inform me?
Geet cried.
G:Because I don't have the strength to see your tears.Aarav,for me you should not cry.
Aarav wiped his tears and struggled hard not to cry.
A:Mumma,you will be healthy soon.I am sure.
G:Yes Aarav,i will return.
Maan observed Aarav and Geet's bonding.
Aarav left the room tearfully.
Maan held Geet's hand:Geet,now I am sure that Aarav is your son.He saved your life.This is umblicus chord's power.
Geet became very emotional.
G:Maan...Aarav is my son.
Maan smiled.
G:But that is not the power of umblicus chord,but the power of the love stored in our hearts.I don't know whether I will die or not.But before I die I have to tell you the truth.
He looked at her carefully:Geet!
G:Like you doubt,I am not the one who gave birth to Aarav.It is Apeksha who gave birth to him.That means as you wished I am not Aarav's mother.
Geet's tears rolled down her cheeks.
Maan was calm.He wiped her tears.

G:Means Aarav is not our son,but yours and Apeksha's son.Maan...as you wished I could not be your son's mother.
Geet wept bitterly.
M: Geet...heart wise he is our son.But biologically he is not mine and Apeksha's son.
Geet was stunned:What are you saying?
Maan said painfully:As you all think I was not the sperm donor.


Geet was shocked.

M:Geet...Aarav had considered me as his father.And also considered him as my son.So I wished you were his real mother.So that we would be one family.But actually our love for Aarav is strong that we don't need to be his biological parents to be his parents.

Tears drops fell down from Geet's eyes.

G:If you were not the sperm donor then who donated the sperm?Vicky or some one else?
