It was a typical Friday night in the Singh house. Only this night they were all watching a scary movie, "Bandh Darwaza"...when suddenly...
Brijesh Living Room-
Brijesh: Wait! What was that?
Tara: What was what?
Brijesh: Ssshhhh...quiet... listen...
"Boom, boom, boom..." The sound was coming from somewhere in the house.
Tara (whispering in fright): OMG!!! what's that sound?where's it coming from? I think you shud go and check it out!
Brijesh (yells back in anger): ME? Why me? Don't you remember what happened last time...???
Saloni: What happened last time bhaisa?
Brijesh: You wudn't want to know...
Saloni: Oh yes i wud!!!! I love gossiping!
Brijesh: Oh ya I forgot...
Suddenly the booming sound gets louder.
Nahar: Chill guys... I hear these sounds every friday night.
Brijesh: You do? I've never heard them before???
Tara: How would you hear? you sleep as if there's no tomorrow!
Dheer: Aditi, let's move our room to the bedroom on the ground floor.
Aditi: Shut up Dheer. Be a man for once in ur life. (and Dheer just keeps quiet)
Just then Kaveri and Urvashi walk in...
Saloni: What r u guys doing here?
Kaveri and Jiji together: us? oh.. we were invited for a sleepover.
Aditi: By whom???
Kaveri and Urvashi look at Brijesh and are going to say something when he gives them a cold stare. They both freeze and say...
Urvashi (not knowing what to say, cooks up a lie): Umm, we were just passing by when we had a feeling that u guys wanted to invite us.
Kaveri: Ya... that's right!
The booming sound gets even louder, frightening everybody.
Urvashi: What was that?!! Is that another one of ur experiments Brijesh?
Brijesh (nervously): What experiments?... I don't do experiments...
Kaveri: Why are u guys just standing here like morons? If ur so scared I'll go and find out!
Nahar: Really? Thanks Kaveri... I knew i cud always count on u.
Saloni (angrily): What do u mean? Move out of my way Kaveri, I'll go!
Brijesh: Woo-hoo! I love all these women they're all so brave!
Tara: Brijesh!!!! What did u just say?? You know what?? Move out of my way Kaveri and Saloni...I'm going!!
Tara goes ahead, followed by Kaveri and Saloni, and the rest of the family follows the booming sound. As they keep going down the hallway...
Dheer: I think its coming from the bath room, I'll check!
They open to door to find...
Kaki: Hey!!! I had locked that door!!
Dheer (embarrased): Oops sorry. False alarm...
They close the door and keep following the sound. They reach the library...
Aditi: Maybe the sound is coming from here. I'll check...
Ishaan: Mom, what r u doing here?
Aditi: I was going to ask u the same thing. Weren't u supposed to be in ur room studying??
Ishaan (hiding the comic book behind him): Uh, well, i was.... kinda... um...
Dheer: Sheesh... leave him alone Aditi...
Nahar: Forget all this, guys...we're following the sound remember?
They keep following the sound and reach the kitchen...
Brijesh: Jumma? What are u doing here at this hour?
Jumma : oh dear!!
Brijesh: Were u eating something?
Saloni: Bhaisa! Come on, we have to follow the sound! Don't get distracted!!
Brijesh: But, but...
They all leave and Brijesh follows. The sound gets louder as they reach the Purani Dodi...
Tara (loudly): YES! ITS COMING FROM HERE!
Urvashi: Don't mind, but can you stop yelling!!you are hurting my ears!!
Tara: Oh, u be quiet! Who cares abt u anyway?
Brijesh: I do! I mean... uh... i... um...
Tara (furiously): We'll discuss this later... but for now we have to get in the PD.
All start banging on the door when finally the door opens. All are shocked to see...
The completely renovated and transformed PD!!!! and all the more shocked to see....
Bhabho: What r u guys doing in here at this hour??
All are speechless seeing Bhabho, Narpat and Manno Bhabhi in there. Kaveri breaks the silence...
Kaveri: Wow, what a room! and what are you doing here at this hour papaji and manno bhabhi???!!
Bhabho: why??? we are having fun...and dancing, do you have a problem with that?
Brijesh (to an embarrased Saloni and Aditi): of course not!!! we don't...right??
(and then he goes over to Kaveri and Urvashi)
Brijesh: ...Come on Kaveri and Urvashi! Let's party!
Nahar (excited): Yeahhh...Let's Partttttyyyyyy!!!!!!
Bhabho: oh no!!!
Manno Bhabhi (sarcastically): Great. This is just great.
From that then on... the purani dodi was officially the Singh family's disco room and every friday night the whole family gathered and it was party night(ofcourse, much to Manno Bhabhi's, Narpat's and Bhabho's disapppointment)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
