After Sheila and Chameli, Katrina sizzles as 'Kamli' in Dhoom 3

Mumbai, Dec 6: The latest offering from Dhoom 3 is yet another attention grabbing song called 'Kamli' which showcases some more daring stunts and incredible dance moves by a very toned Katrina Kaif. Wearing shorts, a t-shirt that barely reaches her midriff and knee length black boots, Katrina sets the stage afire as she renders fluid moves to the foot-tapping notes sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music was by Pritam.

Audiences get to see some of the aerial stunts done by Katrina in the movie. Katrina revealed that while practicing for the stunts they had performed it at a height of 10ft whereas for the actual shoot she was suspended at a height of 25ft. The safety measure being a crash mat below. Fitness experts Reza and Yasmin Karachiwala trained and helped Katrina increase her stamina. While Aamir flew to Australia to learn his tap dance moves, Katrina went through a year of Pilates, functional training and an intense course in aerial stunts. Having invested up to 6 hours each day, just to prefect her moves, Katrina is able pull of her stunts flawlessly, even though she admitted to a measure of fear given that the height had been increased for the actual shoot.

It is no surprise that, Katrina who was known to have gone through training even for the simple booty-shaking step in Sheila ki Jawani, worked doubly hard to get everything right for her 'Kamli' dance number. Katrina herself said that the hard work and the fear were all part of the package that gave her the opportunity to work with professional circus acrobats. She said it was a once-in-a lifetime chance for her and she wanted to make the best of it.

Playing Aamir Khan's love interest in the third offering of the Dhoom movie, Katrina shares screen space with Abhishek Bachchan playing Jai and Uday Chopra playing Ali. The movie set to release on December 20, seems to have already incited much public excitement and awe given the released promos.
