im sure the link up story made him more interesting but i rly think its unfair to give that all the credit considering he gave two of the best performances this year!!

whether u like him or not, i think its hard to deny that he has great talent and genuine honesty and depth in his performances

Ranveer Singh has gotten a boost in stardom because his work has been appreciated this year, and he truly deserves all the praises and stardom that came with doing wonderful movies like Lootera and Ram Leela. His work speaks for him and not the offscreen drama in his life.

Actually, if anything, his off-screen personality comes as a dampner for many...especially in the media, where he is constantly written off as being brash, impulsive and immature.

Its his performances this year that have given a boost to his stardom...first Lootera and now Ram-Leela.

Link-up with Deepika probably helped people get interested in watching Ram-Leela, but I doubt it benefitted Ranveer directly.

Being in a film with the number 1 actress did attract many people to become interested in the film, but it is ranveers brilliant acting that has caused people to become his fans, his stardom has boosted because he is choosing the right movies and the right directors to work with and in doing so has not given a single bad performance.
