Ira's grace

I felt nice that Ira had the grace to decide that shiv will call meenu choti ma and not chachi.

well true...i feel had Alok not emotionally blackmailed Meenu then even she would have told Ira what Ira told Meenu...today's episode was really emotional and i am glad Shekhars are finally getting to do something proper and good scenes with a story.

Well it was graceful. Still if this lady had grace then now also she would at least acknowledge Meenu's sacrifice for her than get angry, call it khairaat and leave the scene.

She's talking to Alok more about herself and did not ask even once how could he ask a mother to give up her newborn child like this.

Ira's little grace is nowhere close to the magnitude of sacrifice made by Meenu for her.

Meenu would've had her child call Ira Badi Ma too had Alok not blackmailed her to give the child to him.

Anyway, Ira only did lip service. Meenu gave away her life to Ira-Alok.

ya ira did excellent thing by saying to meenu that there will be two mother of shiv and even saying meenu to hug shiv .really very touchy scene between ira and meenu

today also instead of asking 1st question that how could u take a child in few mins away from her

i guess she is mre hurt n pained for the d reason that d guy like shiv is nt her son... after all she was proud of this fact that shiv is her son...

@ libs I wanted say that she was alwz proud dat shiv is her son... n dat alwz she took thngs as ladkawala... in case of anandi... n she was proud at the fact that shiv is marryng anandi a divorcee doing was a big deal for her..

I made the same point in other thread Maahi! Ira was more irked about getting a child in charity and feeling "small" than question Alok how could he ask Meenu to part with her newborn! She did not say even once that she wouldn't have been so affected or he did wrong by worrying about her and taking someone else's child like this. All that came out was her hurt ego and wounded pride.

Obviously she was proud of being mother of eldest son and that too one as virtuous as Shiv. Her talk also reveals she had pride about being benefactor to Meenu, "letting" her "share" responsibilities of bringing up Shiv and "giving" her chance to be called Choti ma instead of chachi.

She had pride of being a giver. Now truth slaps her hard as she's only a taker.

Alok was chaalu - he made both women believe they were helping each other while he enjoyed in "normalcy".

Be it flashbacks or present scenes, no one even thinks of Anup who was alive at that time. Maybe his absence was also convenient for Alok - toh sochne ki zaroorat hi nahi padi ; just as he didn't feel like sharing truth with anyone.

Ira's an over-pampered woman with lot of ego. Again with her drama people will pamper her and come to console her.

Denying Alok the right to sleep with her in same room. Ha!

exctly the way ira is behavng is just a strt... she is like saachi a self centered n beaten by infority complex...
