Yash Patnaik's Veera on Star Plus is seeing a number of new actors in the show after the recent leap.
And actress Farnaz Shetty, last seen in shows like Khubsoorat and Balika Badhu, will be seen as the beautiful Gunjan in Veera. Talking about the role, Farnaz says,"Gunjan is intelligent and at the same time she can impress people with her good looks. In 'Pind' she is known for getting the work done by her good looks. She is a happy go lucky girl, who has a dream of getting married to someone who will take her overseas."
Being a non-punjabi, is speaking Punjabi in the show a difficult task? " I don't think so! Given a dialogue I would definitely deliver and I am confident on that," says confident Farnaz.
Talking about her acting aspiration, Farnaz adds,"How I became an actress is a filmy story! During my junior college days, I started getting calls for auditions but my priority was completing my graduation. My mother always wanted me to pursue a career either in aviation or in acting. "
"Then a day came when I had to pick up one and I opted for acting. One year I did theater with
"Rangmanch group. Then one day when I was having coffee in a coffee shop and a casting director approached me for Khubsoorat and that's how I started my career in the industry," signs off Faraaz.
