Same question again...y would this child marriage track affect HB ? She was never against child marriage...what bothered her was that she had to marry Humayun she did not wish to...Remember her lines..'I shall marry someone whose collar my hands can touch and not whose skirt it does not reach'...She was never against marrying at young age and no one in Agra was except Akbar who banned it...This is what I have read up till now...Ruqu, Salima, BB everyone was married in their teenage...even MUZ was said to have been betrothed to someone before marrying to Akbar but her family and maybe rajput chronicles have removed it from history. So though she was older than the normal age of bride she was supposedly someone's bride @ young age. So CVs are quite right...they are not showing poeple in Agra and even Jodha bothered about Tasneem's age...Jodha is opposing because as per her Tasneem does not want to get married and Adham is forcing her family to get her into his harem.

Thanks for confirming this - I was not sure if the information was true but since it is then it makes sense that Hamida should connect with Jodha.

The only thing that stops Tasneem from being married to Adham is that Tasneem doesn't agree to the marriage.

All the other ladies mentioned were party to it. HB was properly wooed by Humayun for 40 days before she agreed to marry him, even though HB herself was a commoner not royalty. So, the girl's razamandi is important in marriage.

In those times there was no age limit for marraige even 4 years old were married off. Nowadays 30-32 years is age limit for girls atleast in those times if a girl stayed unmarried till 15 she was considered too old for marriage. Because people lived only 30-40 years in those times.
