NEXT PART

The whole day was very busy for everyone. Every member was given a job and was sent off. It was getting late and the clock stuck 10 when the girls came out of the boutique. Anjali was pissed whereas Kushi was amused. They had been waiting here for the past 3 hours for the alteration works to be done with. Anjali seemed to be ever dissatisfied with the designer and Kushi was just simply lost. She just couldn't find anything wrong with the dress. To her eyes the clothes were simply marvelous but for Anjali they were a fashion disaster. She had sat on the head of that designer and had gotten her to get the clothing's done to her taste. By the time they left the boutique it was 10 and the parking was empty except for 2 or 3 cars and flickering street lights. Kushi clutched the shopping bags closer as warning bells rung in her head. She quickened her steps to keep up with Anjali as she dint want to leave her alone or be left alone.

There was something not right with this place. The night was too quiet and that was really strange. She was abt to call Anjali when a whistling sound caught her attention. The girls froze.

Oh what do we have here came a voice of a man. Kushi could feel Anjali shiver. She felt it strange. She never thought Anjali to be a scardy cat.

Tho where to girls? Came another voice. Kushi just dint want to reply. She quickly grabbed Anjali's arms and ran towards the car. All they had to do was get into it and lock the door, then had to press the gas and get out of this place. She prayed this happens and tried to run when the men over took them.

Arrey, we were just trying to be friendly. Why are you getting scared dear? Asked the first man innocently but his smirk said it all

Look, what do you want. Just tell and be gone Kushi spoke. She could feel Anjali shivering beside her. She dint know what was wrong but there was no way she was letting these morons hurt another family member. She has already lost too many to lose more.

Main nikalon saying the other man stepped forward and Anjali on reflex pushed him and cried NAHI... seeing this the other man on impulse swung his knife infront of Anjali and Kushi in an effort to shield Anjali from getting hurt moved her hand forwards blocking his attack, the man's knife cut her wrist, but Kushi was so busy seeing if Anjali was alright that she dint notice where she was hurt. She swung her another hand which held the bag over the man, hitting him on the side of his face. He fell down with a shocked expression on his face. Kushi grabbed Anjali's hand and ran from that place. She dint even look back to see whether the goons were following or not. She just ran. Nearing the car, she opened the passenger door and pushed a stunned Anjali into it and slammed it shut. She ran to the driver's side and got it. Taking the car reverse, she accelerated from that place making sure they were going in the right direction.

The in lanes led to the main roads. But in all these years of driving Kushi had never felt it so hard to concentrate. Her eyes were droopy and the area around her vision were getting dark. She found it hard to concentrate and all the lights seemed to hurt her vision. She found it hard to go in a single line. She squeezed her eyes and rubbed them to clear the haze from her eyes. She needed to get home safe and sound but all this only made it worse

Anjali dint know what to do. The men and their words forcibly pushed her to the night in Lucknow. Thought she had understood the love Kushal had for her, but still she couldn't get rid of that fear from her system. She had always feared her situation if Kushal wasn't there and today that is how she had found herself to be. She dint know what to do. She felt the same disgust crawl through her. And her body refused to follow her brain's command. She was reliving her horrible minutes again in that time. With a sudden horn and jerk, she felt her head hit the dash board. She got up and rubbing her head and realized that they were still moving. She looked at Kushi and she immediately understood that Kushi was not alright. She seemed to be in some kind of trance

Kushi she called but she got not reaction. She saw Kushi's lips moving but nothing came out

Kushi she called out but again nothing. She saw that Kushi kept on rubbing her eyes and that is when she noticed that her wrist has been cut. She was bleeding heavily and God she was driving like this. And here Anjali was lost in her sorry episode when she could have lost her life.

Luckily she saw a hospital sign on the way.

KUSHI she screamed shaking her. She moved her legs and pressed the break and the car stopped. The engine stopped and Anjali came out of the car and pulled Kushi out. She drew her out but Kushi was so rigid. She seemed to be lost

Kushi pls get up na. Listen to me cried Anjali. She was getting very scared. She yelled for help and the watchman from the hospital took notice of her. In the next 5 minutes, Kushi was inside the hospital and the doctors were taking care of her. Anjali sat down in one of her waiting chairs. She sobbed into her palms. The doctors have told her that too much of blood has been lost and it would take time. They told her it was a 50 50 chance. She cried for what has happened. She cried for her adamancy she cried for that girl who had saved her selflessly she cried for losing the opportunity of knowing her before. She cried for being so jealous of this girl. Most of all she cried for the pain she has caused this girl with her words and actions and prayed that God would forgive her or punish her and not this girl as she had only been kind and a gentle soul to all.

So what are you going to do?? Arnav asked Kushal as he drove towards the said boutique.

I donno. I have tried talking but she doesn't want to understand. So I just think we aren't meant to be Kushal said in dejection.

Oh pls man. Don't say you are giving up. Do something. Anything. In love, my dear friend all is fare. And after today all will be good between these two he told Kushal with a mischievous glint in his eyes

Kushal looked suspiciously at him. Not knowing what he meant. Just then his phone rang

Hello? Anjali? What happened? Kushal spoke. He was both surprised and a bit worried

Wo Kushal come quickly to City hospital its Kushi she cried

Ok... just wait we will be there in another 20 minutes saying he cut the call

Arnav we need to go to City hospital now saying he buckled his seat belt and pls step on it.

Arnav nodded and they sped the car towards the hospital not knowing what to expect

Anjali stood waiting outside. Kushi was alright. She was given blood for the loss of it and she needed to take few tablets of few days and rest was important. Apart from all this, she would be extremely fine. That was good. But the problem was she dint know how to face her now. She dint know how, after being so mean to her, she could go and say thank you to her. She dint know. The sound of a horn made her look up. There she saw a car stop and Kushal and her brother got down. She gulped. She dint know how they were going to take this news. She dint know how Kushal was going to take this news. Would he blame her? Would he slap her like yesterday? She dint know. Praying for strength she walked towards them

Kushi kahan hai was the first word that came from Arnav's mouth.

Tum teek ho? Came from Kushal. Anjali mentally smiled at these men.

Kushi is fine now. And I'm good too.

Where is she? They both asked

Inside saying she took them in. All three made their way into the hospital room where Kushi was lying. She looked pale and tired. But the doctor said she had woken 5 min before asking for Anjali. But it was Anjali who couldn't show her face to Kushi.

Isse kya hua? He asked her. Anjali first looked at him and then at Arnav she had to tell them. So taking a deep breath, she narrated what happened after they came out of the boutique.

Tum tho teek ho na?? He asked her surveying her from head to toe. Anjali looked a bit embarrassed by this. She was thinking he would shout but here he was being nice to her.

Ji... she then looked at her brother who was now starring at Kushi. His skin was ghostly pale and he looked at her in a weird way. Anjali was confused by this. But she brushed it off for now.

Oh guys??? Came Kushi's voice, soft and week. How are you Anjali??? Kushi asked as her eyes fell on Anjali

Fine Kushi and I just want to say that I ... you I mean..

Kushi just get up and come home soon no yaar. Kushal completed it giving Anjali a small smirk making her irritated.

Oh God if forgot... Anjali cried out hitting her head with her hand
