Pre-Parvati Agarwal
A woman of substance who would sacrifice everything in order to make someone else happy. Her husband Om and nephew Krishna were murdered by Trishna Kocher Agarwal and Rajeshwari Mehra. Thereafter she was accused of the crimes and evidence was given against her in court by Shruti, Sameer, Chaaya and Trishna. Parvati seemingly committed suicide in prison and became just a memory for most.
Post-Parvati Agarwal
Not really dead, she rises again from the ashes in the form of Janki Devi, born of royal blood, the daughter of Narayani Devi and head of Janki Associates. She is a woman on a mission who is out to destroy her enemies and she also intends teaching her own family, who turned against her, a few lessons of life.
Pre-Maji, Dadi, Vandana Maasi
They were the adults of the household who were treated with the greatest of respect. No decisions were made without their consent and they were always the center of everyone's world, holding everyone together.
Post-Maji, Dadi, Vandana Maasi
After Trishna's takeover of Agarwal Mansion, they've been thrown into one room of the mansion that no one uses and treated like servants. They are not respected and are called the refugee camp. Dadi is paralized now and cannot speak, she hasn't said a word since the leap. Even Maji and Vandana, who used to be strong in the old days, have weakened with age and sadness.
Pre-Kamal Agarwal
The most loved of the family. He was his bhabi's shadow and his bhaiyya's Lakshman. Kamal, like Parvati would go to any extent to make someone else happy and would always support someone who was right. When he returned from a business trip to find that his bhabi had committed suicide in prison, he was beside himself.
Post-Kamal Agarwal
He started off as a drunkard who couldn't tell the difference between night and day because he was so busy with wetting his tongue. His hope and lease on life is renewed when he sees Janki Devi who is the spitting image of Parvati Agarwal. He soon finds out that both of them are one in the same and slowly starts to come out of his drinking habits to once again support his bhabi in her endavor for justice.
Pre-Suyash Mehra
An arrogant businessman who ruled the business world and whose principles on life could not be changed by anyone, until he met Parvati Agarwal who in time he fell in love with. However, he was caught smack in the middle of a conspiracy where his wife Rajeshwari threatened to kill Parvati should her secret come out and so he stayed silent while Trishna and Rajeshwari tortured Parvati.
Post-Suyash Mehra
Still madly in love with Parvati, he shares no physical relationship with his wife and has distanced himself from most of his family except for his grandson Adi. We later find out that Suyash was responsible for sending Narayani in to Parvati's life, even though Parvati herself treats him like one of her enemies. He continues to help her silently and quite honestly even he is lost on the secrets that have come out in the past few days.
Pre-Trishna Kocher Agarwal
A woman suffering from a psychotic illness where she believed Om Agarwal to be her husband. He let's her play along out of respect for her emotions but she soon finds out the truth and instead of being thankful to Om she turns on him and together with Rajeshwari Mehra she kills him. She then marries Kamal and pretends to be Parvati's friend until she slowly turns the whole family against her and sends her to jail on a false charges of murdering Om and her step-son Krishna, whom she also killed with Rajeshwari.
Post-Trishna Kocher Agarwal
A vain woman who believes that power and prestige is everything. She has taken over the Agarwal Mansion like it was always hers and lives in the lap of luxury, throwing anyone who gets in her way right out. However, even she is not ready to come face to face with Janki Devi who reminds her of her arch nemesis Parvati Agarwal. Later Trishna is truly convinced that Janki is not Parvati but acquires her help in making Suvarna Devi believe she is Parvati so she can get her hands on 500 Crores that Parvati gave Suvarna. Her friendship with Rajeshwari has recently been destroyed by Janki and now the two stand against each other, having only their secret in common.
Pre-Rajeshwari Mehra
A classy vamp with taste and style, she collaborated with Trishna to kill Om Agarwal when he got in the way of one of her business deals. She then returned into the lives of the Agarwals as Rano, a friend who then helped Trishna kill her step-son Krishna. Soon Rajeshwari's true colors come through and she blackmails Suyash into keeping his mouth shut, using Parvati's life as bait. However, she is truly sad to have lost Nikhil and Ashutosh to Parvati.
Post-Rajeshwari Mehra
Still on her pedestal, she is not as evil as Trishna, she is more on the lookout for loves she has lost in her life. The only thing that keeps her evil is that she believes that everything she lost was stolen from her by Parvati - her husband and her sons. However, she becomes a good friend of Janki Devi's not knowing that the latter is using her to get her dirty work done. Rajeshwari is also nice to her daughter-in-law Mayuri, much to even my surprise.
