Hally Shah to replace Ulka Gupta in 'Khelti Hai Zindagi...'

She will now be replaced by Hally Shah in telly show Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi
Actress Ulka Gupta, who plays Ami in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi, has been shown the door. She will be replaced by Hally Shah, last seen in Alaxmi " Hamari Super Bahu.
According to sources, Ulka compares herself to senior actress Gautami Gadgil Kapoor and does what the latter does. For example, if Gautami takes a leave for two days, Ulka applies for four days off. Also, though handsomely paid, Ulka apparently gives only five hours to the shoot.
Says a source from the production house, "It was becoming difficult to accommodate her requirements. We felt it was better to replace her than to make constant adjustments to the schedule."
Sources also blame Ulka's dad Gagan Gupta for being interfering. However, he says, "I have no idea about Ulka being replaced. In fact, she is shooting right now as we talk. She has shot for 20 hours a day to ensure the telecast didn't suffer. She needed time off for her exams and we agreed upon 10 hours a day. She has been meeting the requirements."
Ulka is better known as the younger Laxmibai in historical show Jhansi Ki Rani.
