If the points of the two countries competing in World Cup are the same. For example right now Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka all have 2 points each. Then whichever country has the higher net run rate goes to Super 8. So basically the run rate determines who will go into Super 8 if points are tied among number of countrie.
