She first makes sure Jalal gets Ruqaiyya's gift , then she makes sure Jalal properly understands what she is trying to give him as a gift and then the ball is in Jalal's court to decide who wins it ... so she plays fair in this case 👍🏼

She does not beg for the no.1 position but earns it on her own merit and yes thus the journey of Jodha and Akbar begins 👍🏼

Jyothi and mansi-both the write ups were fabulous..one provided us with what passed in the week and another matched my wavelength..lot of people were mocking jodha for her ghrina..I found nothing wrong in that..jodha grew up in a family whose land were often savaged by foreign invaders..what else can one expect from her??the hatred festering in was exacerbated by jalal's attitude towards her..though her family was allowed to rule,they were considered as servants of the empire,that itself must have hurt jodha a lot..some even wrote ribald jokes on her continued ghrina even after jalal took baby steps towards reconciliation..I found nothing wrong with that too..how can she change overnight in regards to the feeling that has lived within her through her lifetime till then??one can argue about rajdharm,diplomacy and lot of words thrown in, regarding her stance.politics,is this what this show is all about??absolutely not..this show shows the journey of the jalal to becoming the emperor who was beloved of all,akbar.likewise it showcases the growth of jodha from a princess to a queen,both of them surviving in a jungle called Agra..it a journey which they will unwittingly take together ,learning the good from the other,so obviously there will clash of ideologies..these clashes will involve their emotions too as both of their believes have been imbibed with passion .I mean the dil vs dimag battles.in this let me also point out that their growth may not be even.but they will fall in love.it is not a matter of barter system here that you give up on one thing ,I will change my feelings about you overnight..I do agree there have character inconsistencies in the script but that has always been a part of all the daily soaps..so let criticise constructively understanding the boundaries that define the show..

I agree .. Jodha and Jalal hv a very different upbringing .,. so its natural for Jodha to feel hatred in Jalal's ways of dealing with people and its also natural for Jalal to do the things his way like how he has been taught since childhood by Maham and Bairam khan .. in short upbringing does play a big role in how u grow up as a person and same is the case with Jalal and Jodha .. neither both r perfect nor both r totally worng .. they both hv their share of psitives and negatives and they r slowly learning a lot from each other and starting their journey as husband and wife finally 😳

Secondly ,I had pointed out to mansi that jodha came to Agra as a package ..the package called the royal family of amer..this family in history became closer to akbar than his own family..they became part of his inner coterie as he found the existing circle treacherous.as you would have noticed,jodha has contributed to exposure of this betrayal ..what is attractive about jodha is her family values and for a person like jalal,who is looking to drop his anchor,she is the perfect port..her family will give the loner jalal ,the sense of belonging and their loyalty to him will be unparalleled..

Yess .. in shorrt Jalal eventually will find his real family in Jodha's family since all this while the selfless love , emotions and loyalty which he often missed from his own Mughal family , he will find it all in Amer ..

If the above said is jodha' s contribution towards their relationship,then what would be jalal's?? For me,his contribution would be to make her think like a queen..jodha is humanity personified but sometimes a queen has to think beyond her emotions..rukku,though a sharp political operator, has no human touch to in her decisions..this is what jalal will teach,the astute political sense..the intermingling of politics and jodha' s human touch is what jalal will need on his road to becoming akbar..

Spot on .. I guess the epi on thursday was the beginning when Jalal announced Jodha's gift is most spl to him and then asks her to sit besides him in the court .. it was the beginning of Jodha's journey as a queen

I think Jalal has already fallen, the way he keeps remembering all their previous scenes. Jodha still doesn't do it. Only Jalal won't understand and accept till Jodha asks him directly. and she will only ask when she will fall for him and tell him openly.

Two things.that's not sitting well with me:

1. The lack of passion/chemistry in Jo-Ja interactions:

Their interactions are becoming increasingly formal and polite much to the disappointment of souls like me... I want the old Jalaal back who used to be a great combination of naughtiness, sensual, and playful. Somewhere I see a regression. The glint in his eye during the aarthi scene or sword fight is missing. The visible display of Jalaal's attraction to Jodha during their Amer trip is missing.

Am not even hoping for physical proximity or them to fall on each other...But I certainly want some raw emotions flowing... for us to feel the attraction and sexual tension.

I don't think there is lack of chemistry. If u have noticed his expressions while he is sitting by the bonefire remembering past things, those expressions say a lot. If he is just touched by her gift and thoughtfulnes, he can go directly to her and say thanks. why wait for a longer time, remember all previous things and then go to her when he accepts that he can't stay for a sec longer without seeing her? I think he knows his STATE of MIND where she is concerned, and so trying to stay away and calm so that she won't be scared again by his emotions or his not so hidden passion and again try to go away. So he is trying for her to stay comfortable and relaxed in his company. else his eyes very well show his passion, hunger and attraction and NEED for her.

Guys, bith have already fallen for each but it takes a longer time for them to realise tha as LOVE. as od now, there priorites are different as Jalal is aiming on winning the whole land and Jodha in unearting his hidden heart to one and all. So once they are through with their current agenda, they will get free time for them to sit and realize on their LOVE. Till such time Jalal is free for all his begums and anyone who i lucky can have him as they might not get their chance later😉
