Chapter 10

Khushi didn't know what to do. She was stand still. Tears were flowing from her eyes. At that time Arushi came out from the room and saw her Maa was crying.

Arushi: What happened Maa? Why are you crying?

Khushi: We have to go Arushi.

Arushi: Where?

Khushi: Delhi.

Arushi could not understand anything. All she knew that her whole family are in Delhi. She was little but she could understand that something happened there. Her small heart filled with fear.

Arushi: Wait a minute.

She went to the room and came back with her back pack.

Arushi: Lets go.

They both came out of the house and headed towards the airport. The both board on the plane. The journey was full of silent. They reached Delhi within two and half an hours. From there they rushed to the hospital.

The entire Raizada family was standing near the ICU as if they are waiting for the news that he is no more. Akash was leaning his back with the wall. Anjali was pacing near the door. Payal was sitting with Nani, Mami and the children. Suddenly Akash stood straight saying "Khushiji"

Everyone looked at the direction where Akash was staring and saw Khushi was coming with her daughter. They rushed to them. In the mean time Khushi's eyes became dry. There was no sign of tears there.

Khushi: Where is he?

Akash: Come with me

He took Arushi in her arms and directed Khushi towards the ICU. They got in the ICU and found him lifeless surrounded by the machines.

Arushi: (Shouting) Angel?????????

Khushi looked at her confusingly.

Arushi: Maa What happened to angel?

But Khushi was not listening to her. She was looking at the face which she loved most. There was nothing. No anger, no complain, no pain. There was only peace. She came out of the ICU followed by Akash. Khushi start walking towards somewhere when Payal tried to stop her.

Payal: khushi...

But Anjali stopped her.

Anjali: Let her do what she wants.

2 Hours have passed. Khushi was not back yet.

Anjali: Payalji, You please take the children, Nani and mami to the home . They must be tired. Me and Akash is here.

Payal: Yes di.

Saying this Payal got up. She helped Nani and Mami also. Then she went to Akash to take Arushi who was still in his arms resting her head on his shoulder. Suddenly...

Everyone tried to remove her hand from the fire bur failed. Then Arushi looked at Akash.

Arushi: Will you get me to the room?

Akash nodded and let her go. But without going to her Maa she start walking towards her back pack. She opened it and take out the gift That Arnav gave her. She opened the gife and found her maa's payal there. She wore it.

Arushi: Can you please help me to open the door?

Anjali nodded and opened the door of ICU for her. Arushi entered the room. Anajli and Akash also followed her but didn't say anything. Suddenly they saw some changes there in the machine reading which was attached to Arnav. With every step of Arushi which made the payal to sound the reading changed. Anjali hold Akash's hand tightly. Arushi went near the bed of Arnav and got up there and sat beside him.

Arushi: You know what my every friend told me that their fathers fulfill their every wish. But I didn't know about it. But I know now. I wished on my birthday that you were my Papa. And see my wish is fulfilled. But you should have told me. You told me that day that if I wish to come back to my Papa then I should wear it. See I wore it. Now please come back. Maa is waiting for you outside. Please Papa... O...Papa...Papa, Ooo ...Papa please wake up. O..Papa ..Papa...

She continued calling life this. Anjali was holding Akash and crying badly. Akash was also crying seeing the scene before him. He is also a father.
