Kapil Dev, the Wisden Indian cricketer of the century, graced the scene of Indian cricket for almost two decades, leading the Indian team to a thumping World Cup victory over the then ostensibly indomitable West Indies in 1983. Kapil Dev is considered to be one of the best all rounders cricket has ever had.

Kapil Ji, they dont make cricketers like you anymore... Cant you come back to playing cricket.. OK, on a more serious note, why is India playing the way they are today?

The whole team is more worried about how to impress selectors, how to get into the team, who gets the best endorsement, where did cricketing spirit go in all this hoopla.

How different is the inner world of cricket today as compared to your hey days?

Who according to you, is the best player in the world today, Indian player/ any other player.

After a long time, we now have a decent opening balling attack. What tips would you give them?

Cant we create world class facilities for cricketers in India, we have the passion, we have the men, we have the support from the crowd, so why cant we put together a team who play with precision and passion, backed by technique and facilities which is world class.

How do we motivate the Indian team? How does one tell the Indian team that even on a bad day, its not DONE to loose to Bangla Desh who are struggling to retain their test status?
