Media rights to Ash-Abhi wedding?

I just found out that Ash-Abhi sold their wedding picture rights to some media group for a hefty price. I was very disappointed to hear this, why do they want to sell their wedding ceremony pictures like its some kind of show. We all want to see photos, but they could do it privately like how normal people have weddings. If the wedding is taking place at Big B home, you tell me he cant hire a photographer to take pictures and then circulate it to the media so everyone gets to see the pictures at the same time. Instead of putting your children wedding up on the market for people to bid on.

I know in hollywood no wedding ever takes place without first selling the wedding photos to some magazine, or having a new born baby, or even getting a new dress. It is ridiculous and everything turns out to be a joke when the couples get divorced a couple of months or years later. What is the point and it just seems like a way for them to make more money or create publicity. Do we really want bollywood to be like that, where everything is sold for a price.

What do you guys think? Shouldnt some things be kept sacred. 😃

Its all about money.Ash and Abhishek would milk their wedding for all its worth to saturation.Afterall, its the biggest affair in a very very long time,a Bachchan scion getting married to arguably the world's most beautiful woman, who is also the biggest female star in India....The media rights would itself have earned them enough money to cover costs of the entire wedding. 😛

That way they can control which pictures are made public and also won't have paparazzi going amok. I mean people would rather buy magazines with good quality official pictures of the wedding rather than some candid shots of them walking down the aisle.

Its a really good decision..

yes u r rite ....to get rid of the paparazzi 😆

its a tactful decision where by releasing the official pictures they're trying to make pictures taken by freelance photographers (paparazzos) worthless..Its a simple concept really

Ofcourse your posts are funny, you sound almost like the official spokesperson of the Bachchans and Aishwarya😆...As far as I see,Amitabh Bachchan goes around endorsing every product from shoe polish to Hajmola, and does every sort of film without giving a care..There's no reason why he wouldnt want to milk the wedding, the wedding would earn them more money than a film would..About them being charitable, the spokesperson would know better than anyone else,so definitely there's no need to buy it with a grain of salt😆

The million dollar question is whether they would be magnanimous enough to donate the money to charity, like heir hollywood counterparts?
Seems very unlikely.

Bachchan Sr. is very stingy.. no offence meant to him as an actor.. he is a brilliant actor but not a very good human being..

i have heard that every evening, there are beggar outside his house, no doubt he gives them money.. but then his accountants.. show it as a big charity and then he can escape from all the Tax he has to pay because they show so much money given to chairty.. like if he gives a beggar 100 bucks, the accountant shows it as 1000..

he doesnt even spare a beggar.. 🤢

Please lets not compare what the meaning of marraige is in Hollywood to what it means to us in Bollywood. I only pray marraige is more sacred of an institution here than in Hollywood where it is a joke. 😆
I do understand the defence behind it, to control the papparazzi. But it is sad it has to come to that. It will be beginning of the end, where everything will be put a price on. 😕
Big B is very stingy I hardly doubt he will donate that money to charity. He doesnt come off as a genuine warm person. 😕

This is serious I feel ..Please do not make personal comments on anyone. That is so not right.

Several people are huge fans of one or the other actor and really defend them or keep posting lots of articles featuring their favorites but one should not make a personal comment on IF members .It might get a bit irritating for some...but we cannot start saying such rude things to each other.. This is our fraternity... we cannot fight between ourselves.
