Well i think distortions are part of every mythological or historical serial. If you see any on going or old mythological serial there will be distortions and alterations
But issue here is this is Mahabharat one of our religious books.Hence people arent able to accept distortions in this since their emotions are attached to various charcters in this epic whom we grown to love respect or hate.Since childhood we have heard or read these stories hence we are attched to these stories in a differnet way which makes distortions difficult to accept which we might accept in other mythological or historical serial since we are not that attached to the characters or story.also like i said everyone knows Mahbharat even in this forum most of the people know and understand Mahabharat inside out hence it is easier for us to know when stories or characters are being distorted which we may not realize in other serials of this kindThis is my POV of why people are finding these distortions difficult to accept. And i understand this like i said Mahabharat is one of our religious books and people who wanted to see a serial close to the book will no doubt be dissapointedFor me personally distortions are acceptable to some extent but integrity and respect of the epic and its characters need to maintained.MB is part of our Indian culture hence any show depicting this epic must respect the epic and its characters with or without distortions
