Ramji Londonwala movie

I know I shouldn't be writing on anything but TD but what to do when there really is nothing to say about TD...so I thought I'd share my views on the movie I saw instead. The only connection with TD would be that I did for a minute think the guy who got married to Ramji's sister was Gautum! 😊

Check it out if you can. It really was funny and nice clean fun. No steroid enhanced bugs & stick insects prancing about....bliss! 😆

Although I think they should have called the movie Ramji Britainwala. Yep, the 5 mins flash of Houses of parliament, London eye, Tower bridge & river boat were all London ... (How come I never see it in quite the same light?) ... and then they showed Stanstead airport and a BLUE bus (in Reading) 😕 – definitely NOT London - our RED bendy buses are more trendy – they caught fire twice so teensy weensy bit dangerous but still more trendy! 😊

Ramji's preparations before coming to London were hilarious - trimming nose hair and shaving armpits!!! 😆 😆

BTW Even movies are taking liberties with the law - the legal aspect of migration was all wrong. You can definitely not get married over a weekend in a church even if you are a Christian! And now you also need state permission before the wedding if you are a foreigner – with our love of bureaucracy add at least a year!!!

Are u sure his bro in law is gautham. since i saw clips where they showed Harsh chaya and his wife ( Astitva guys) in the pic, maybe they were playing some other character. trendy red buses yup I know we have similar buses in Mumbai BEST double decker buses seen only in Mumbai and London 😃 . Yes, Madhavan was good in this. Haven't seen Banegi apni baat.
The first bro-in-law (sis gets married twice)wasn't Gautaum afterall. I just thought it looked like him! 😆 So other main character was from Astitva...I thought he looked familiar but couldn't quite place him.

Lata - you should see our new bendy buses. They are single decker but twice the length, in the middle they have this flexible rubber joint, when they turn corners they bend! Shame they didn't put them in the movie. 😕
