The history that you all are creating about Jodha Jalal is also praiseworthy! We don't know whether all this happened in reality or not but nevertheless I like this story telling, it gives food for my imagination.
I liked the contrast between 2 gifts of 2 begums. One gave a golden attire which will shut the eyes with its golden shine, glitter and reflection and the other begum gifted a common man attire with no glamor or ornate work but it helped in opening the eyes of the soul. Yes all that glitters is not gold! Very well portrayed by you all CV's. 👏
And I am happy you all didn't rush to confer the title of Akbar so early. It really would have looked out of place for Jalal to receive the title because he ordered a well to be dug up for his subjects. Many such deeds for the masses should earn him Akbar not just one deed. But definitely this was another small step towards the journey of earning the title of Akbar.
I am happy he realized the significance of his gift and Hamida Bano also did her part in implying the importance of being loved by the subjects unconditionally because their love becomes the shield for any ill omen or evil eyes, if the Shahensha is well protected by their allegiance, obeisance and love nothing can affect him wrongly from outside.
What was praiseworthy was Jalal's immediate acknowledgement of the deep meaningful thought of Jodha's gift. He remembered all the precious moments of their relationships from the earlier times and he couldn't stop himself from expressing his gratitude to her. These are the signs of true royalty manners. Jodha was gracious and happy, a little softer attitude would have been preferable but I will not complain, this was oasis in middle of a desert for me. Kanha was the witness of their growing relationship, their amiability, their friendship, their understanding of one another, their care for each other, their looking out for one another, their attraction for one another, their support for one another...and when Kanha is there in the backdrop then who can stop the Love blossoming for one another? Yes I can say, if KANHA is there, can LOVE be far behind? 😉😃
And what a wonderful endearment from Jodha after Jalal left. He said something deep and meaningful and she got the drift and was ecstatic about it. In a wonderful way he expressed the wish to receive such gifts from her forever and that "forever" rang the bell in Jodha's mind. She was happy Jalal wants her forever in his life seeking her care, support, friendship, gifts and maybe, just maybe affection followed by love which at this moment was not there. 😃 But I am sure it will follow soon as I wrote earlier. And most importantly she was not complaining to be a part of Shahensha's life forever, in fact she was happy that he was seeking so.
I am happy CV's you all didn't show Jodha all worried about Ruqaiya and asking Jalal to go and pacify her. Some things ought to be left on its own. Some time extreme grief or happiness should be felt or handled in a solitary manner and environment without being disturbed or consoled. The storm within dies it's own death leaving behind the ashes to be blown away. And Ruqaiya needed just that, to burn in her own fire of jealousy and insecurity and come to terms with it. Not every time can she be first or the winner. She has brains but she has to utilize it more for Jalal's benefit as a Shahensha and not for her own advantage.
What I loved was Jalal's honesty in the scene with Ruqaiya. He came and acknowledged her precious gift but also made her understood the depth of Jodha's gift and how he felt she was so much more insightful in her gift that not only woke the humanity in him but earned the love of his masses and she deserved to be next to him in the celebration. But in no way he undermined Ruqaiya's position in his life, she was his best and oldest friend and will remain so forever. But slowly he is seeing the friendly side of Jodha as well and can see she has extended her hand in friendship towards him and he can't reject that. He came and notified her in advance and also tried to comfort her but it's Ruqaiya's own battle now within. Whether she will accept Jalal and Jodha's relationship or will she burn in her own fury and insecurity!? If you ask me she will burn in that fire, some one like her cant and won't be able to see any one taking over her position and place in Jalal's life.
So the birthday celebrations are over and we will now face Adham and Tasneem track tomorrow. At least we know Jodha won't be alone in this, Jalal will support her. Let's see how you all will unfold this CV's.
