I would like to start again today with congratulating both Avinash and Shrenu for their excellent performances.
In today's episode the CVs gave the viewers everything that many had been waiting to watch for. Shlok's revelation of his revenge, How he fooled and blind folded Astha in his love and married her and got her for life. The viewers want to see how Astha will take revenge and they will be happy once Shlok's heart is broken into million pieces like he has done to Astha.
In the last episode we saw Shlok was happy when Astha prepared the breakfast and he was confident to leave her alone with them and went for work.
For me, I think seeing behind that mask which Shlok has been wearing now since his marriage when he saw his family degrading Astha in the name of rituals and traditions is what this episode and coming episodes are about.
Shlok said the truth , Astha ki zindagi ka sabse bada jhoot hai ki he hates Astha. Jis Agni ko sakshi maanke usne Astha she shaadi ki hi aaj usi ki samne he says that he hates her (does not say usi ko sakhsi manake - A big difference here as he knows he is lying now).
He did reveal to her that he planned to take revenge for what she did, but when Astha said she could not see the hatred behind that mask of love, Shlok' s expressions change here, asking us which is the mask? The one he was wearing or the one he is wearing now?
Shlok ki zindagi ka sabse bada such is that Astha truelly loves him. Does he want that love from a strong Astha who can fight or a weak Astha just blind in his love?
A woman imprisoned in a house with people of horrible mentality where she does not even have the love of her husband will now fight back openly as she has nothing to loose.
He goes on calling her Mrs Astha Shlok Agnihotri or Mrs Shlok Agnihotri constantly reminding her that she has lost her identity and only has the stamp of his name. He had told her in the beginning that he did not change her name because he wants that same Astha who can fight everybody, not the Astha who runs away. So Where is the True ASTHA now?
He does tell her how nave she is and needs to be more smart to know the ways of the wolves around us - Sojal and especially her mother, and Anjali. Does he think that about NA too? I sometimes feel so, because I have seen his expressions when Astha wanted to touch Anjali's feet first and NA came in between on the day of grihapravesh just after their marriage.
He does tell Astha indirectly that she has a small brain (which means she is not using her brain) - his twisted dialogue to see what he is achieving behind this. . Sojal's mother represents the typical women in the society, always ready to gossip and poke their nose into other's affairs and make steal their peace and happiness.
Later we see him trying to stop her from going away, the same tactics that he has played before, once when he gave the blue saree to her, and told her his intentions are good but his ways are wrong and again with the card episode. Shlok will do everything to not let Astha go away, because if she goes away then his maksad , focus of changing this house first before changing the society is lost
It's going to be Astha's awakening today and I am not propagating that women should not call the police for domestic violence or that they should not leave such homes. Yes, they MUST if they find themselves in such situation. If Astha was wise, she would not even have come back home. She should have gone to her parent's house directly. Shlok had given her that opportunity, but our naive Astha , could not do that either. Another lesson to be learnt. He wants his wife to fight this and not run away, may be something he has seen his mother could not do.
That Shlok wants this reaction from Astha about hating him and fighting back is obvious. Whenever Astha says she came for his true love, he puts his eyes down and his expressions change.Also when Astha asks him that did he marry only for revenge, his expressions change. The CVs do show us subtly that he cares for Astha. They have shown it before too in many episodes.
Sooner or later Astha will start seeing the Shok behind the mask and then revealing that mask when she would use her brain would also be a treat to watch
Let us see how Astha and Shlok fight with each other, now both in a different way but will lead to achieving the same goal which is good. So Iss pyaar ko kya naam doon? The question again is "is this the right way or crooked way ? That is for each of us to decide.added the pictures that Madhu has collected.
