In the time of unusual on-screen pairs, Bollywood will soon see Kareena Kapoor and her Don director Farhan Akhtar teaming up for a film. It's heard that the two will be seen together in Dev Benegal's next.
Post Gori Tere Pyaar Mein!, Kareena Kapoor was supposed to start her film Shuddhi with Hrithik Roshan, but since the actor has gone to the US for treatment, the shooting has been pushed to mid-2014 now. Left with no option, the actress has decided to devote her time to another project.
Following Hrithik Roshan's unavailability, Kareena has to alter her date-diary. The actress has now allotted the dates to Dev Benegal's next which will see her paired with Farhan Akhtar.
"She appreciates Farhan's work as an actor and director and saw Bhaag Milkha Bhaag thrice. She is going to spend January preparing for the role," a source is quoted as saying.
Dev Benegal, who was supposed to start the film in mid-March next year, is speeding up the pre-production, claim sources. Kareena will start shooting for his film in February.
A few days back, Dev announced two films Bombay Samurai and Dead End. Both the projects are going to be commercial unlike Dev's other films The English Patient and Road, Movie. Kareena and Farhan may star in either of these two films.
Kareena Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar were also supposed to work in a biopic on Sahir Ludhianavi. What do you think about this new pair?
