Is Bani Making Right Choice for Laksmi?

Ok just some thoughts.

Bani knows that Tarun is madly in love with some other woman. Does not matter who. In such a situation is it fair for her to ask Tarun to marry laksmi on the basis of their friendship.

The other thing that bothers me is that Laksmi is a young beautiful girl and given time she will get over Tarun. Howver, now unknowingly she is going to marry a man madly in love with someone else. Which devastation is bigger, not gettting the man you love or getting him and having him love someone else. Also why is Bani making the decision for Laksmi. Karuna is her mother. Karuna asked Bani fr help because to Karuna Tarun only said he is not ready to marry. Does'nt Karuna have a right to know that she is giving her daughter in marriage to a man who is in love with a married woman. Karuna and Massi both are older and wiser and have the right to make the decision. I feel it is a huge betrayal on Bani's part not to tell Karuna and Massi that Tarun is in love with someone else. Also these are the two people who have stoop by her side in her biggest devastation. Bani might potentially be setting up Laksmi for a huge heartbreak and if Tarun is unable to forget Bani and accept Laksmi and make her life hell, no one but bani and than next tarun is to blame. The two of them are playing Russian roullete with Laksmi's life. Tarun to please bani, and Bani because ......

Bani has no right to make such a huge decision on Laksmi's behalf. As mom, Karuna should have been told and than she could have make the choice.

Bani has done this before. She thought JW would not know how to deal with Jigz and Ranveer and now she is keeping Karuna and the whole family in the dark of a potentially devasting truth. I would not blame massi or Karuna if they hate Bani after the truth comes out after the wedding and Laksmi is devastated. Yes Karuna asked for her help but Karuna does not have all the facts.

Bani isnt the only one who conceals truths but if JW conceals truths it is for an intelligible motive- saving his own skin/saving Bani from hurt but Bani's motives for hiding truths are best appreciated only by a Dixit brain.

Karuna i agree older and wiser, but M****(yes i still haven't forgiven her) older def. but wiser really??? If she was wise, she wouldn't told Jai what Bani was upto with the whole divorce/alminony fiasco, if she was wise she would've told Jai about Bani's miscarriage, if she really was wise she would've put a stop to bani's antics, so i am sorry to say but i disagree with that statement.

As for T and Lakshmi's marriage, i hope something happens on the wedding day and Lakshmi ends up marrying some hot dude with brains.

Even on Karuna, I have something to add. She is a nice and good-hearted person and a wonderful sister to JW, but completely clueless when it comes to men and matrimony. Obviously she made a hopeless choice and can't seem to realise that her daughter is only taking the same road.

I think Bani is digging a big hole for herself. Inspite of being a big Bani
supporter I think what she is doing now is very wrong. I agree completely
with your post Meg. But maybe this is just Kekta Mai's "plot" device wherein
the wedding almost takes place but ini the last moment Lakshmi gets
married to Nattu or someone else. I'd love to see them together.

Karuna doesn't know the whole truth about T, for her he only reacted because he thought Jai was wrong(which i don't know how everyone just accepted). I am sure if she knew that T was just playing a game she wouldn't dig a damned shit hole for her daughter.

meghna first thing u have a right to advice or suggest something to ur friend but forcing or coercing him into a decision is totally wrong....she is worried abt laxmi not even the fact that tarun is in love wwith some other person,i am sure they are into the process of bani butchering again 😡 ...and the scene between tarun and bani ...i am sorry to say the dialogues given to bani did not make head or tail and it was utter nonsense.....i mean does no one even question that anymore while seeing their lead mouthing this......and what they have shown between tarun and bani is equally ridiculous...from the start he was tarun and it was tum when he is the same age as her husband.....if they had continued with bani-pushkar angle that wld have made sense not this...........it shows that taruns love is very forced and there is nothing compassionate in their friendship also 😕

Even if TS were a positive character, I would think that Karuna would have shown some concerns about her daughter marrying a guy who was twice her age.
