How I saw it, is that Ajaz when he entered was very friendly with salman. He wanted that friendship with him. Therefore, since everyone calls Salman, Salman bhai, he used that bhai part to start a connection with him by acting tapoori.

Now if Ajaz is doing that for attention, as he is a very boisterous personality, or is like that because of his background I don't know. But I feel salman is not very found of that type of behavior. Acting all buddy buddy without knowing him does not make him like you.

Even In season 5, he disliked sunny leone even though I think she expressed an interest in working with him. He kind of gave her that cold shoulder and blatant disapproval in interviews.

Moreover, if they truly share a friendly rapport I don't think the things salman says to him are mean or derogatory. I speak like that with my friends all the time and they vice versa. My friends and I cuss at each other or we say I'm gonna beat your ass etc. very common amongst friends.

But my opinion is that he doesn't like Ajaz and wants Ajaz to realize that so he stops trying to force a friendship. I think Salman sticks to small group of friends. Just my opinion.
