Sunil Grover aka Gutthi confirms that he is not returning to Comedy Ni

It's final. Sunil Grover won't return to Comedy Nights With Kapil (Colors). Speaking out on the ongoing controversy for the first time Sunil who is beleaguered by speculation on his return to the show that he left a few weeks ago, stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Grover told Tellychakkar.com. "I am not returning to Comedy Nights With Kapil. It's unfortunate. But that's the way it is. No point in crying over the inevitable. I've moved on, and that's final."

When prodded to reveal the reason for his abrupt departure from a show that has given Sunil a new lease of comic life the actor reveals, "I am working on something on my own. Something away from Comedy Nights With Kapil. Right now it's too early to say what it is. But those who enjoyed me as Gutthi on Kapil's show won't be disappointed by my new avatar."

In the meanwhile irony plays its own cruel tricks on the now-estranged comic duo. On 22 November, Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma will perform live on the same stage in Muscat.

But not together.

Says Sunil, "Yes, we are performing at the same event. But separately. We were both approached separately by the same organizers."

Sunil says he doesn't at all mind sharing the stage with Kapil. "I am open to performing with him at the same event."

In the meanwhile Kapil Sharma says he is still trying to get Grover back into the groove.

Kapil is outraged and baffled by an "interview" published in a leading daily last week quoting Kapil as saying that he is looking for a replacement for Grover and that Grover left the show "only because he wanted more money."

Explodes Kapil, "I never said that. In fact I haven't spoken to that journalist who has quoted me. Anyone who knows me even vaguely would know I don't talk like that about anyone, least of all my friends. And Sunil is my friend."

Kapil wonders who is trying to create a rift between him and Grover at a time when Kapil is making his best efforts to bring Grover back into the show Comedy Nights With Kapil.

In fact, reveals, Kapil. "I am taking Sunil with me on a show."

"Why are people trying to create problems between us?' wonders Kapil angrily.

As of now, it seems Gutthi's journey is over and out!!!
