Okay so I did say on my Coming Soon post on my Index that I wanted to do an AyRa OS...Here it is š
This story is about Humaira and Ayaan's wedding ...
I've never tried being in AyRa's head to be able to capture heir characters for a story but first time for everything...

Humaira Siddiqui sat on her bed deep in thought. Her mind wandered to Ayaan Ahmed Khan, her fiance and in a matter of hours her husband. She suspected he was out probably meeting his Bhaijaan. She sat there just in shock. It was finally happening. Her wish had come true and Ayaan loved her just as she loved him and tomorrow they were finally getting married. She smiled and hugged herself tightly, her eyes squeezing close. She wanted to scream but her ammi might think she was dying and come rushing in.
Humaira knew her ammi was just as happy about this wedding. Razia Siddiqui had tried to get them married numerous times resorting to less than pleasant means to do so. Humaira wasn't aware of most of the scheming plots her mother had concocted to get the two of them together but now they were together and it wasn't because of any scheming or plotting but because of love.
Nuzhat Ahmed Khan, Ayaan's sister was bundle of excitement always at her side for each and every function for her wedding just as they'd always planned. She missed Nikhat though who now married, was away with her husband Farhaan Quereshi. But she knew Nikhat was happy for her. She talked to her constantly and Nikhat always gave her best for her and Ayaan.
Humaira heard a crashing sound outside and ran to see what the commotion was about. It was Ayaan. She laughed as she spotted him carrying in more shopping bags than he seemed to be able to carry. She started to laugh loudly as he fumbled with the bags dropping bags all over the hall.
"Humaira are you going to just laugh or help me?" She looked at her with a glare and she stopped laughing and nodded moving forward and taking some bags from him. He shouted for Wajid to come take the bags to his mother. "You went shopping?" She asked with a smirk.
He advanced forward and she stopped giggling and backed up..."Ayaan, okay okay, I won't laugh." But a laugh escaped her lips and she ran. She jerked to an abrupt stop when his hand clamped down on her wrist stopping her. Her eyes slid closed and her heart raced. Since she was a young girl she'd only ever wanted him and he was finally hers and they were getting married, sometimes she could hardly believe it.
Ayaan reeled her in slowly and she hid her face from his gaze as he spun her around, her long hair forming a protective curtain from her emotions. He lifted a hand and seared through the silky strands pulling her hair away and tucking it behind her ear before taking her small face between his palms.
"Ayaan-" She started but he stopped her. "Can you believe we're getting married tomorrow?" she smiled and then his face fell and he sighed, "I forgot...after tomorrow, I'll have to put up with you for the rest of my life." He sighed dramatically and slapped a palm to his forehead.
She broke out of his hold, glaring at him, "Don't forget, I'll be stuck with you too. Allah alone knows how I will put up with you for a lifetime." She lamented and rolled her eyes walking away. He grabbed her wrist again. His face was close now, she could feel his breath stirring at the hairs on her nape. "You'll put up with me just fine." He turned her around and held on to her by both her shoulders. "Tomorrow you'll become my Humaira begum." She smiled a big smile and launched herself into his embrace and he tucked her close hugging her tightly.

Ayaan Ahmed Khan watched Humaira Siddiqui run off to her room, her long dark hair a silky curtain flowing down her back. He couldn't believe he was getting married to his best friend tomorrow. Far less for that, he never imagined he'd love her so much the way he did.
Before he would have never seen her as anything more than his friend...his Zingo Hotties partner in crime but now, now that he loved her...he could see so much more about her that he had missed before. The way her eyes flashed when she got irritated or the way they softened when they were together,
He remembered teasing his Bhaijaan when he fell in love with Mona. And Asad bhaijaan had told him about Humaira...he was in denial then but now he saw that all the times he lashed out and told her in anger he would never love her was because he was in denial of having those feelings for her.
In addition to bringing home the mountain of gifts Dilshad ammi had sent for them, he'd gotten a special gift for Humaira that he planned to gift her on their wedding. He hoped she liked it as much as he loved the best gift she'd ever given him...her love.

The Day of the Wedding...
"You look beautiful Humaira." Shireen, soon to be her mother-in-law, said as she looked at Humaira's reflection in the mirror. She was adorned in jewels as well as wearing the most beautiful bridal dress she'd ever seen... it was a pink floral and heavily embroidered ghagra with a velvet burgundy choli with floral embellishments (see dress here).
She smiled and she felt tears pricked her eyes as her ammi looked at her with a huge smile on her face. Everyone left the room, leaving her with her ammi. "Humaira, today you and Ayaan will finally be married. You are happy right?"
Humaira nodded her head, "Yes, ammi, very happy."

The priest came and Humaira caught a slight glimpse of Ayaan wearing a deep red outfit but his face was averted. Nuzhat poked her and she winced, "What?" She asked rubbing her arm. Nuzhat pointed to Ayaan who winked at her before covering his face with the customary garland veil (I don't know what its called š³). She ducked her head, her face warming. They both said Qubool Hai when the time came and Humaira couldn't believe when it was all over, Ayaan Ahmed Khan was now her husband.

After the wedding, Humaira stood near Nuzhat as guests mingled congratulating her and her parents on the alliance and the wedding. She also saw Asad bhaijaan and Zoya who despite not having good relations with her family, they had come for her and Ayaan's sake. Humaira was just about to walk over to them to say thank you when she felt a tug on her hand.
Ayaan pulled her into his room and shut the door. Humaira swallowed watching the mischievous look on her husband's face. "Ayaan, wha-" Ayaan started laughing loudly, "You should see the look on your face." he laughed. She glared at him and huffed walking to go back outside when he blocked her path and secured the lock on the door. Humaira's eyes followed the action and she stepped back suddenly feeling shy. She fiddled with her bangles when Ayaan stepped away from the door and took up a small package from his dresser. He held it forward to her. She smiled and took it.
"Open it." He said smiling at her with his big boyish smile. She opened the wrapping to find a small box and opened it revealing a gold locket very much like the one that had broken when they had been separated. Tears filled her eyes as she opened the heart shaped locket to see pictures of both her and Ayaan. "Look at the back." He murmured and she closed the locket and turned it over.
It read;
My Humaira Begum,
Always Ayaan
Humaira launched herself at him and hugged him tightly. "I love you Humaira." He said into her hair. "I love you too Ayaan." And with that he pulled back and fastened the locket around her neck. And Humaira vowed she would never take it off.
