Madhubala OS Competition'13

Madhubala - Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon

Hi Everyone,

Since I am sure that none of you know me, I would like to begin by introducing myself. I am Manjari and I am here with an OS Contest for all the fantastic writers and potential writers of this forum. Writing is like painting, you just need to know what you are making and believe in your brush/pen and it all falls in place.

So how about I just stop my philosophy and cut to the point?

So let's start with the details of the competition ~

Madhubala - Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon, doesn't it say it all? What better topic to right on than the concept of the show itself?

# You have to write down a movie.

Basic necessities your movie should have -

~ A hero, a heroine = RishBala

~ A villain

~ Setting / background

~ No Songs Please :P

~ Romance

~ Drama [ Which Bollywood movie is complete without that? ]

~ Dialogues [ Really good ones :D ]

~ Comedy

You may add some action, emotional scenes, kids, or even aliens! Just make sure it doesn't take the judges three hours to read 🤣 Basically it should have everything a HIT Bollywood movie would have. [ except songs :P ]

# Do not change the basic characters of Rishabh & Madhubala.

You cannot change their basic character sketches basically. But however, you may make RK poor and Madhu rich or RK/Madhu an orphan or something along those lines. You may also change their age. You may have the setting of the movie in New york, it doesn't matter but Madhubala should be like she is on the show, down-to-earth and sweet. Get it?

# Word Limit : 2000-3000 words

# A maximum of two entries will be allowed per member.

# Do not send in entries, which you have posted on the forum before. Please do not share your OS in any way. If found, you will be disqualified.

# Do not copy Bollywood/Hollywood movies already made. That will lead to disqualification.

Be original, be creative and go for it. Think like a director 😉

# All Entries are to be PMed to my a/c - DoNotDisturb.

# Last Date Of Submission : 15^th December 2013

# You have FULL freedom to write whatever you wish to but make sure you don't use foul language. Please do not forget the IF code of conduct.

So since we've got that out of the way how about we move on to the judging department.

Participants will be judged on 5 criteria :

~ Entertainment Quotient

~ Language & Vocabulary

~ Concept/Story

~ Dialogues

~ Title of your movie!

The Judges will be three members of your very own forum. I will personally invite them to be our judge and will let you'll know as soon as I receive their confirmations.
