For the past six months, there has been a lot of speculation about R Balki's next film and his star cast, but Balki has chosen to remain silent all through. Now that he has his cast and script in place, he spoke to TOI about his next untitled film, which will feature the extremely talented Dhanush with Kamal Haasan's second daughter Akshara Haasan. The film also features the legend Amitabh Bachchan playing an equally important role and, as Balki said, the film has three leads and will see the magical combination of Dhanush with Mr Bachchan.

In an interview with us earlier this year, Dhanush while talking about his most favourite music director Ilaiyaraaja had said, "His music was my lullaby, his music was my food, his music was my childhood, his music was my first love, his music was my failure, his music was my first kiss, my first love failure, my success... he is my blood." Well Dhanush should be delighted as Ilaiyaraaja will be composing the music of the film that, in the words of Balki, is a conflict drama as he can best describe it. When asked who the conflict is between, he immediately responded saying, "Between all my three actors."

Denying all rumours about Shah Rukh Khan doing a film with him, Balki said, "I would love to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan but right now, no. Shah Rukh has never said that he is doing a film with me and neither have I."

This film will go on the floor in the first half of 2014 and is likely to be released by the end of the

PS:- this will be a treat to watch ABsr and Dhanush in d same frame.. nd keeping in mind that Dhanush had good chemistry wid shruti, hope Akshara can also prove to be a good actress in front of gems like AB and Dhanush..

Looking forward to this one, Dhanush is always a treat to watch. I wish 3 was a better film but he did have great chemistry with Shruti so maybe he and Akshara will be good too.

I have always found Akshara prettier than Shruthi..So yeah, lets see how this works..Glad Dhanush is getting recognized..He has some solid talent and he was the best part of Ranjhanna..

Dhanush was always recognized, if not for his national award, then for his kolaveri di song.. and then Raanjhana did much good to him, thanks to his amazing performance .. hope he carves his own niche in bollywood..
