After Amitabh Bachchan, Shekhar Kapur praises Deepika Padukone's Ram-Leela

The Leela from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus says she received the biggest compliment from Kapur

Deepika Padukone is a happy girl, and why shouldn't she be, after all, the hard work is paying off well. The leggy lass has been receiving a lot of compliments for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. The latest to join her fan list is none other than Paani filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. Talking about Kapur's big' compliment, Deepika said, "The biggest compliment which I got for Ram-Leela was from Shekhar Kapur. I received a message from him which says that I have added so many layers to Leela that even Shakespeare didn't think while writing for Juliet. For me, that's the big compliment." The actor further added, "All I can say is I am thankful to God and I am enjoying every moment of it. It is very overwhelming for me that Ram-Leela' is doing so well. It's a perfect combination of what I ideally want for all my films, being critically acclaimed as well as doing well at the box office."

Before Kapur we had also reported how Amitabh Bachchan is maha impressed with Bhansali's film starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Big B was so awed by the performances of the lead actors that he watched the film thrice in a day! Also, the 71 year old personally congratulated Bhansali, Dippy and Ranveer.

Way to go Dippy! We are sure with Ram-Leela there are a lot of new additions to Deepika's fan-list!

so no praises for the leading hero...that happens when you project urself OVER THE TOP...both onscreen and offscreen. learn from this girl how to keep ur toes on earth.

Ranveer got all praises from critics...media is highlighting deepika because she is having consistent performance..wait for Ranveer's another movie, he will get all praises that time...

Leading hero doesn't have a PR to write articles about who said what and what praises to him or what not. He is also in Oman shooting for his movie. Can't give interviews either.
