Not even a choppy chopper ride in the Bahamas could deter actress Shweta Kwatra from going footloose and fancy-free
Nothing can stop me from travelling. Not even my husband. Though I love going out with him, keeping in mind our odd working hours, I really don't mind heading alone to a destination anywhere.
TRAVEL GURU
For me, the best way to take a break from my hectic lifestyle is to go on a trip. What else can work wonders and rejuvenate your senses if not travelling? The mere thought thrills me. Ask me to visit Australia or New York any time of the year and you will find me all set to leave. While my hot favourites in Australia are Sydney and Melbourne, I love hanging around in Manhattan when it comes to New York. A group of close friends and many places to shop—what else do you need to have fun?
MY HOT SPOT
Bondi Beach in Australia is unbelievable. Situated in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, it's heaven for tourists. With calm blue waters and tranquillity at its best here, you will never feel like returning.
A romantic destination depends upon my mood. Having a fight with your spouse in Paris will spoil it while having a good time in Mumbai can turn it into a hot spot! For our honeymoon, we went to Paris and New York. As both Manav and I are travel freaks, we visit new places every year. Learning about people and cultures fascinates me.
BAHAMA MAMA
My visit to the Bahamas will always be unforgettable. There's more there than scenic beauty. We decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary there. Unfortunately, we ended up at the wrong airport! We were clueless and the cost of going from one airport to another was higher than the entire trip from India to the Bahamas! We panicked but finally took a helicopter. It was in a shambles, broken and noisy.
Not just the helicopter, even the pilot gave us the creeps, for he kept guzzling beer! The journey lasted 45 minutes but it was quite thrilling, what with fun and risk all woven together!
FALLING OFF THE MAP
I have yet to explore Spain and Italy. When do I go there? It all depends on my mood, so who knows?
