Shruti Haasan attacked by a stranger in her apartment

Actress Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in Ramaiyaa Vastavaiya and D-Day, was attacked by an unknown man at her residence in Mumbai.

The man, suspected to be her stalker, reportedly rang Shruti's door bell at 9.30 in the morning and when she answered, he tried to barge in to her house and strangle her.

She fought back and managed to push the attacker away.

Apparently, the attacker's hand was jammed in the door, which helped Shruti escape unhurt. She is reportedly still in a state of shock.

Oh no!! I hope she is ok...

Is he the same stranger whom she insulted in a pub for touching her? Or the one she insulted by saying he lost her purse which had two iPhones only to find it later in her own van?

Girl has issues. Who will attack her like that without a reason? Not saying it's right, absolutely not, but we don't have a clear picture yet.
