Box Office Prediction - SSTG & GTPM

Two medium budget films headline next weeks releases. Both Sunny Deol and Imran Khan return to their comfort space. While SSTG will do most of its business from single screens and the north, GTPM is a multiplex film and rom-com which do well in the Mumbai belt. Ram-Leela will be a huge challenge for both films as it's doing well at both single screens and multiplexes but more so for GTPM.

Singh Saab the Great

Opening day : 7.5 Cr
Weekend : 24 Cr
Lifetime : 50 Cr
Verdict : Hit

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein

Opening day : 8.5 Cr
Weekend : 26 Cr
Lifetime : 55 Cr
Verdict : Hit

SSTG Average/semi hit

I think both will flop. Haven't heard of the first one and the second one seems to have no hype, that I'm aware of anyway.

If this stupid Sunny movie was not there GTPM would have done so great. Still I feel GTPM is going to surprise everyone.

Two completely different genres, won't affect each other.

GTPM makers will be more concerned with Ram-Leela and The Hunger Games which also releases this friday all over India. All three will be fighting for the Multiplex audience.

Looks like everyone thinks both will flop. 😆
