đ ur post is really beautiful, every time i see this scene or even think about it i cry, for him and for her! it was so well written and so phenomenally enacted, i am awed by both actors every time. i really hated the farak padta hai track, but this was such a significant, beautiful, heart wrenching scene and i'm glad it brought that track to an end. i think asr's brain stopped working the moment he found out khushi was engaged and from that point to this moment he was out of his senses and acting purely on his feelings. as always her beauty entrances him and he cant help but want to touch her, and as always her rejection is his undoing and he lashes out to stem his own pain.
but that moment when he sees her cry, sees what he's done to her, how his words and actions have made her feel - it is like another wall around his heart begins crumbling. her tears undo him every single time, suddenly he stops thinking about his own pain and starts thinking about hers ... and he knows he has to let her be! she is not meant for him and he has to stop acting like she is his. i so love arnav for this character trait, what a way to show a man whose conscience will ultimately always dictate his behaviour, however hard he tries to bury it. superbly crafted scene â¤ď¸
