Fight club

The sets of Saarthi witnessed a showdown between lead actors Karan Grover and Mickey Dudhwani, recently. Unit members blame growing insecurities between the two for the fight. Also, the growing friendship and visible chemistry between Karan and co-star Zalak Thakkar (she plays Bhumika) hasn't gone down well with Mickey. Interestingly, Karan and Mickey play Arjun and Duryodhana respectively on the show, which is based on the epic Mahabharata.

Zalak informs that the men fighting wasn't a quite a pleasant sight and she had to call other unit members to separate the two. She chooses to suffer from partial amnesia when quizzed about the reason for the men picking up a fight. "I was there when both of them were fighting. I guess Mickey fought with Karan because of some personal problems."

Needless to say, the brawl led to a delay in the shoot and the men didn't even apologise for having kept the rest of the cast and crew waiting for an hour. Says creative director Sachin Mohite, "Karan and Zalak took a little time to come for the shoot, and Mickey was waiting for them. Next, we see them fighting with each other. There had always been an undercurrent in their relationship."

Says a source from the production house, "Mickey always had a problem with Karan since the time he has joined the show. Mickey thinks that the production house is giving preferential treatment to Karan and Zalak as a couple."

Now, both of them are not on talking terms. When quizzed about the fight Karan Grover says, "We had differences in opinion and so we fought." Despite repeated attempts, Mickey Dudhwani was not available for comment.
