The first step, tentative, hesitant, and yes small, but still a step. Jalal's first step in love. Or that's what it felt like to me...as desperate as I am 😉!!
Agreed the shahenshah rules the world n all, but when it comes to love, the guy is a total loss and a dim wit student 😆!! He takes his sweet time, the fates, the peers, fakeers, mom and everyone around seems to point out to him that he is made for Jodha, but the stubborn student that he is (and naughty too), he just refuses to listen and learn. And don't even get me started on the Amer ki princess, she is even worse (if that's possible). If fates and ammi jaans and all kinds of Angas and other begums and all conspiracies didn't meddle, these two would still be busy with hammer and tongs..our historical Tom and Jerry 😛!
But today, finally, a break through!! Yipee!! The last bencher finally got the answer right!! He figured out a few fundas of love...trust and sacrifice. Yup, he did learn the value of trust with this fiasco and the best part he learnt to put her first. Her honor, her respect today came first. His took a back seat. Today Jalal was ready to play the villain in everyone's eyes, including hers, just so he could save her from the accusing fingers and wagging tongues. To save her reputation, he simply put his on line. And when we look back to the man who gloated at her tears, we realize how far this so called heartless man has travelled! Whatever excuses he might make, this was so not an emperor's decision, this was pure love on the part of a cute yet confused hubby 😆!!
And if I am not mistaken this is indeed his first step towards Jodha, which he takes out of pure, unselfish, considerate, self sacrificing love. In a way now starts his journey ...and that of Jodha's too. And soon his highness is going to realize that he is irrevocably and irreversibly in love with the ice princess...Khuda Khair Kare and Bhagwaan Bachaye ...Celebrations Forum Waasiyo!! 🥳
