It seems that success has gone into the head of television actor Siddharth Shukla.
After rising to popularity with his character 'Shiv' in 'Balika Vadhu' and participating in the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', the actor has started throwing starry tantrums. In fact his unpunctuality has become a source of concern and ire to the production house.
A Mid-Day report says that Siddharth has been reaching the sets of the show Balika Vadhu late everyday and hence causing a delay in the schedule of the show. This attitude has turned his co-stars against him, who too are hassled by his attitude.
The report further says that when he was scolded for his delays, he mended his ways. However, it lasted for just a few days and he was back to his old ways.
The star reportedly charges a hefty fee of Rs 15 lakhs but is not very cooperative. However, he denies that he reports late on the sets and dismisses it as rumours.
Earlier, actress Pratyusha Banerjee was asked to leave the show for acting too pricey with the production house. She was replaced by Toral Rasputra. We just hope for Siddharth's sake that he mends his ways soon.
