Deviani Singh Raizada again came to the hospital, after visiting Devi Maiya's temple. She has gone there to ask the Pandit if there is any auspicious time today for marriage! If no than she would have made her stubborn Grandson understand but would have never complied with his condition. But looks like Devi Maiya also want the marriage to happen today, as the Pandit said that today is a very auspicious day for marriages. But she was also relieved as now she need not feed lies to Madhumati ji, now only she needs to do is to tell Madhumati ji that today is a very auspicious day for marriage and she wants the marriage to happen today itself, of-course with some lies here and there. She sighed, so much for just a simple, real marriage! Her grandson! She shook her head and entered the room to take command.

Madhumati ji saw her friend standing at the door and she passed a smile to her, Deviani Raizada reciprocated the smile and went near the bed and sat on the chair, placed on the right side of the bed.

"Madhumati ji, so have you asked your niece about my proposal" asked Deviani Raizada.

"Hmm...yes.. Deviani ji, I have asked her and she...she said yes!...but I am little confused by her immediate yes...I mean...it's not like I don't like your proposal...but still...I mean...till today whenever I use to ask her about marriage, she use to just shrug off...and was never serious about all this things...And she says that she knows your grandson and also likes him...But she has never said anything about this to me...which she never does, she tells me every small things...but as my niece has said yes...so... I think it's a yes! " said Madhumati ji little confused by the sudden proposal and also by her niece's weird behavior.

Deviani Raizada listened to everything what Madhumati ji said with utter concentration and didn't spoke a word. Hey Devi Maiya! She is already confused about the all this and now the marriage that also today itself?! Deviani Raizada thought for a moment as what should she do, but her grandson has left her with no choice, if she will not arrange for the marriage today itself than she knows that her grandson will go ahead with the contract marriage, which she will never allow him to do. So she needs to talk now. So Deviani Raizada straightened herself and started.

"See Madhumati ji , I know that you are worried about your niece but trust me, I will look after her like my own daughter, you need not worry about her, I assure you I will try my best to keep her happy, so please don't worry" assured, Deviani Raizada to the worried mother in front of her.

"I know, Deviani ji. I trust you! I know she will be happy in your house but I am just worried for her...she is just 18...still a child...she has said yes...but I don't know if she can manage everything after marriage." again Madumati ji voiced her worries.

"See, Madhumati ji, you don't worry about her. I will be there for her. I will be there to guide her. And after all she is your niece; I know she will manage everything perfectly. Don't worry, I am there for here" said Deviani Raizada trying her best to assure her friend.

"You are right, Deviani ji, Khushi will manage well. But what to do, sometime she is so childish and clumsy that I am always worried for her. But now I need not worry as now I know that you will take care of her" said Madhumati ji, now little relieved that her Khushi will not be married off to some strangers house, she knows Deviani Raizada, she can trust her with her baby.

"Hmm...yes, Madhumati ji...hmmm...but I want to talk about something..." Said Deviani Raizada, little hesitant.

"Yes, Deviani ji, say. What is it?" asked Madhumati ji.

"Madhumati ji, who baat ye hai ki...woh...before coming here I went to Devi Maiya's temple and there I came to know that today is a very auspicious day for marriage, so...so if you don't mind can we conduct the marriage today.." asked Deviani, hesitant, knowing very well that it's not over yet, she needs to do lot of explanation.

"What! Deviani ji?...how?...I mean why so hurry...See, Deviani ji how I will arrange everything, and you can see my health, I can't, Deviani ji... " stammered Madhumati ji, confused by all the happenings of the day, first sudden proposal, than Khushi's immediate yes and now marriage today itself?!!

"Madhumati ji, please don't stress yourself, you are not well!" said Deviani ji, ashamed that because of her she is worrying her friend, who is already not well.

"See, Madhumati ji...I am sorry for worrying you but it's just that my grandson is a little anti-social types, he doesn't want a grand wedding, and you need not worry about the preparations, I will arrange everything! Actually, Madhumati ji I also want my grandson to be happy and after many coaxing he has agreed for the marriage, so I want everything to happen as quickly as possible and also Pandit has said today is a very auspicious day, if we conduct the marriage today than the couple will always live happily together, it will be good for them, that's it! And I assure you I will look after your niece, she will be happy, trust me!" said Deviani, half truth, half lie!

"Deviani ji, I am very confused" said Madhumati ji. She thought about everything. Khushi was happy with the proposal, she knows the boy and likes him.Than she looked at her health issues, what will happen if something went wrong during the surgery, who will look after her baby, what will happen to Khushi? And she knows Deviani Singh Raizada, she is a nice lady, she will keep her baby happy, if she will say yes now than her all worry regarding Khushi will be solved. She will be relieved that there is someone after her who will look after her baby. And Deviani Singh Raizada is just asking for a marriage nothing else than what is the problem? But she will need to ask Khushi, first!

"Deviani ji, as you said that today is a very auspicious day for marriage than I think that I can say yes but again I need to ask Khushi, if she is Ok with the marriage than only I can say yes" said Madhumati ji to the relieved looking Deviani ji in front of her.

"It's fine, Madhumati ji, it's perfectly fine! By the way where is Khushi?"asked Deviani ji.

"Oh! She has gone home to bring lunch! She will be on her way to here" said Madhumati ji and at the same moment Khushi entered the room.

"See, she is here!" said Madumati ji, smiling.

"Khushi, see your future mother-in-law is here, waiting for you!" quipped Buaji .

Khushi just stared in front, without saying anything. Hey Devi Maiya! What is happening in her life, now what Mr.Raizada's grandmother is doing here. Oh! She is here for her answer! Khushi scolded herself for worrying on everything and went ahead and greeted her "future mother-in-law".

"Ji Namaste" greeted Khushi.

"God bless you, bitiya!" said Deviani Raizada.

"hmmm...Khushi...woh...Deviani ji wants the marriage to happen today itself! Hmm...are you...are you ready for this?" asked Buaji.

"Marriage?!!" asked Khushi, confused, what are this grandson and grandmother playing at. He says he wants a contract marriage and his grandmother comes here with a marriage proposal and now says that she wants the marriage today. What is happening?!

"hmm...Madhumati ji...if you don't mind can I talk to your niece? " asked Deviani. Khushi is confused about everything, she atleast deserves a explanation.

"Hmm...ok..." replied Madhumati ji.

"Khushi bitiya, come with me, please" said Deviani Raizada and got up from the chair and started towards the door.

Khushi just followed Deviani Raizada.

Deviani Raizada stood outside the room facing Khushi, unsure of from where to start.

"hmm...Khushi Bitiya, I know you will be confused about everything. I know that my grandson wants a contract marriage with you...but Khushi I can't allow him to go ahead with this. I had tried very hard to stop him but I am sure you know how stubborn my grandson is! I know that he is marrying you just for Abeer but I assure you that you will get your all rights of a Raizada Bahu and I will try my best to make my grandson understand that you are not just Abeer's mother but also his wife. I promise to give you your all rights! I know Khushi bitiya, what my grandson is doing is not right but he is not a bad person, he has made himself that way. He has a very good heart. I know he will never hurt you. He really loves his family. And this is the reason I want a real marriage instead of a contract one. If I will allow him to have a contract marriage than he will treat you like his one of the deal which I don't want. I know he doesn't believe in all this rituals but if this will be a real marriage than he will atleast see you as a part of his family if not wife. So I asked him for a real marriage this morning and he said yes but he has a condition that the marriage has to happen today itself. So please Khushi Bitiya say yes! I promise that I will keep you happy, will never allow my grandson to hurt you" completed Deviani Singh Raizada trying her best to convey that she will make everything alright.

"It's Ok, Maa ji, I had anyways agreed for the contract. But now it's nice that it is a real marriage. I was really worried that what I will tell Buaji about all this but you solved all my problems, so thank you for that. Thank you very much" expressed Khushi her gratitude to the elderly lady who has solved her problem.

"Don't say thank you, bititya. Instead I should say thank you to you, for coming in our life. I promise you that you will never regret your this decision. And please call me Nani as Chhote does! " said Nani.

"hmmm...ok, Nani...so now can we go in?" asked Khushi.

"Yes! You go I will just meet the Doctor and ask him whether they can give Madhumati ji a leave in the evening so that she can attain the wedding" said Deviani Raizada and moved towards the Doctor's cabin.

"ok!" said Khushi and moved inside her Buaji's room.

Khushi entered the room and saw that her Buaji was sitting on the bed, Khushi passed a smile and moved toward her.

"So, Khushi, what did Deviani ji say?" asked Buaji.

"She said that she wants the marriage today itself." replied Khushi.

"And what did you say?" again asked Buaji.

"hmm...I said...I said yes" said Khushi, hesitantly.

"Khushi?...Are you really happy with this marriage?" asked Buaji, again the worry clouding her.

"Yes...Yes ...Buaji I am happy...see my smile..." said Khushi pointing towards her broad smile.

"Not everyone who smiles is happy, sweetheart!" said Buaji, seeing Khushi's childish act.

"Sacchi?" asked Khushi, confused.

"Sacchi!" confirmed Buaji, smiling.

"Ok, leave it. Nani had gone to ask Doctor whether you can leave the hospital to attain the wedding. And now come on have your lunch, it will become cold" said Khushi and moved towards the table where she has kept the lunch.

Khushi gave one plate to Buaji and with the other she sat to have her lunch but as she lifted her hand to put the morsel in her mouth, her mind went to the face, which never smiles!

"Buaji? What about them who never smile?" asked Khushi, curiously.

"Never smiles?!hmmm...I don't know...maybe they don't want anyone to know what they feel, whether they are happy or sad..." replied Buaji, unsure.

"Acchaa,...so Buaji, what should we do to know whether they are happy or sad?" asked Khushi, keen to know about this new thing.

"Hmm...maybe you should try to understand them, you should try to see beyond what they appear to be, you should see through them. If they don't express their feelings through their expression or words than there may be some other means for them to express their feelings, maybe through some gestures or actions. But why are you asking all this? " asked Buaji.

"Hmm...Nothing Buaji...you have your lunch" replied Khushi but her mind still pondering over what just Buaji has said!

"Buaji? Nani has called me at her palce, she told she wants me there and that she will sent a car for you in the evening, so can I go?" asked Khushi to her Buaji who was resting.

"Oh! Yes, you should go, there are so many preparations, she might need your help" replied Buaji.

"Ok! You take rest ha! " said Khushi, kissed her Buaji and left the hospital.

"Nani ji, Khushi ji is waiting for you downstairs" informed HP.

"Oh, ha...tell her I am coming!" said Nani and Hp left to convey the message.

Deviani Raizada got up from her bed! It's time to introduce Khushi to the special member of Raizada clan thought Deviani Raizada with a smile.

Deviani Singh Raizada descended the stairs holding the small bundle of joy, wide awake in her arms. She looked towards the living area and saw that Khushi was seated there facing her back to her. Deviani Raizada moved towards her, carrying her great-grandson in her arms.

Khushi saw Nani who stood in front of her and she stood up from the couch. She looked towards Nani and her lips broke into a million dollar smile seeing whom Nani was holding in her arms.

"Nani?...is that...is that..." stammered Khushi, her excitement making are unable to speak.

"Yes! He is Abeer! Your son!" said Nani amazed at seeing Khushi so happy seeing a baby, her Buaji is right, she is still a child.

"Can I ...can I hold him?" asked Khushi moving towards Nani.

"Of-course, Khushi, you can, take!" replied Nani and moved Abeer little forward so that Khushi can take him but Khushi moved back.

"Hmm...Nani...I...I don't know how to hold babies...what if...what if I drop him?" said Khushi, afraid of holding such a small thing, what if she hurt him.

"Don't worry , dear! I will teach you how to hold babies. Don't worry you will not hurt him" replied Nani, smiling, seeing Khushi so afraid of holding Abeer.

"Just forward you both hands" said Nani and Khushi obliged. She placed Abeer in her hands and Khushi immediately brought him close to her chest, holding him securely, afraid that she will drop him. "Put your one hand behind his head and hold it lightly and with other hand hold him close to you, ok? Don't be afraid, you will not drop him" assured Nani, seeing Khushi's face, a mixture of happiness and nervousness.

"Nani, he is ...he is...so small...he is...he is so beautiful..." said Khushi, astound at seeing such a small and beautiful creature in her arms.

"Yes, Khushi! He is just three months old" informed Nani.

"Oh! His eyes...his eyes are so big, Nani" said Khushi, amazed at seeing such beautiful eyes.

Nani saw Khushi all lost in Abeer and chuckled. She is such a child!

Khushi was just lost in the beautiful and charming angel in her arms. She touched his tiny hands and lifted it to her cheeks, so soft. She again looked in his eyes, he was staring at her intently as if searching for something, Khushi's lips broke into smile, seeing that his all attention was on her. My son! Khushi thought with her heart bursting with happiness and pride.

"Hey, baby...I am your Amma...don't look so confused...I know this is our first meet but now I am going to live with you. Do you like me? But first let me tell you, I liked you very much!" said Khushi looking in Abeer's eyes, smiling like an idiot.

Abeer giggled seeing a human, flashing her all teeth in front of him.

"Haww...you are laughing at me...do I look like an clown to you?...never mind,...I like love your smile, so you can laugh on me, I will not mind" said Khushi and pecked his lips.

"You smell so good...I love you love you love you love you" sang Khushi, cheerfully, happiness radiating from her face.

"Khushi bitiya, now leave Abeer, you need to get ready for the wedding" said Nani, looking at Khushi, all lost in playing with Abeer.

"hmm...ok, Nani! But Abeer?" asked Khushi, not wanting to leave the little bundle.

"HP will take care of him, dear! You need to get ready for the wedding" replied Nani

"hmm...ok, Nani!" said Khushi, hesitantly, in no mood to leave Abeer.

"Ok!" Khushi handled Abeer to HP, reluctantly, not wanting to leave him.

"Bye, Baby! Don't worry I will be back, soon. Don't forget me , ok?" and kissed Abeer on his cheek, making him giggle more.

"Bye" Khushi waved her hand at Abeer.

And with that Nani and Khushi went upstairs to get ready for the wedding. Nani gave her a blood red lehanga with heavy silver work done on it and ask her get ready, fast!

After a while Khushi came out of the washroom, wearing the given lehenga, devoid of any make up and accessories.

Nani looked at Khushi "Khushi, you are looking so beautiful!" complimented Nani and went towards her and brought her to the dressing table. Making Khuhis sit on the table in front of the mirror. Nani took out her jewelries and showed to Khushi "Khushi, as we did all this in a hurry so we didn't get the time to shop for new jewelries, so this is my old jewelries, I hope you don't mind this. I don't worry, after the wedding I will bring you new jewelries" said Nani, not liking that she is giving Khushi her old jewelries.

"It's ok, Nani! I don't need any new jewelry! There's no need to spend money on jewelries, I anyway don't wear much jewelry. And please don't say sorry!... You know I liked this lehenga, it's very heavy but I like it, it's so beautiful" said Khushi, cheerfully, running her hands on the lehenga.

"Yes, it's very beautiful and so are you!" said Nani, while helping Khushi wear the jewelries.

Nani and Khushi both heard a knock at the door and turned their heads towards the door. Placing the dupatta on Khushi's head, Nani asked "Whose there?"

"Nani ji, HP! Arnav Bhaiya is home!" came the reply.

"Oh! Ok! Tell him, I am coming! " replied Nani.

And HP left to convey the message.

"Khushi Bitiya, you sit here, I am just coming, ok! And I have called a lady to apply Mehendi on your hand, she will be on her way, I will sent her here!" informed Nani.

"But, Nani I came here to help you, if I will put Mehendi than I how will I help you?" asked Khushi.

"There's no need to help, dear! We have helpers here! And did you think that I will make the bride work on her wedding day" quipped Nani.

"You just sit here and when everything will be ready and I will call you down" and with that Nani left the room.

Nani descended the stairs and saw Arnav looking around as if he has came to some other's house.

"What are you looking at, chhote?" heard Arnav from behind.

"Nani what is all this? Why have you made the house a circus?" asked Arnav in his stern voice.

"Circus? My house looks like a circus to you? You have only told that you want the wedding today itself, this all preparations is for that, or have you forgotten?" chided Nani.

"Nani but what was the need for all this?" asked Arnav, pointing towards the decorations.

"You don't interfere in all this, you just go and get ready for the wedding! I have not bought any clothes for you, as I know you will wear what you want to, so I have not wasted my time on that, so go and wear something presentable" said Nani, in stern voice.

"What do you mean by presentable, Nani? I always look presentable!" countered Arnav.

"Yes, I know that, so go and get ready, don't waste my time, I have so much work to do!" and with that Nani exited the scene.

"Unbelievable!" muttered Arnav and started taking long strides to his room.

"Nani ji, all the preparations are done!" informed HP to Nani and they both heard the door bell ring.

"Hari Prakash, wait I will go , I know who it is" said Nani and went to open the door.

"Welcome, Madhumati ji! come" Nani welcomed Buaji.

"Namaste, Deviani ji" greeted Buaji

"Namaste, Madhumati ji! Your niece is in the guestroom, putting her Mehendi on, come I will take you there" said Nani and moved towards guestroom with Buaji.

"Khushi, see your Buaji is here!" said Nani entering the guestroom.

Hearing Nani's voice, Khushi got up from her chair, all excited!

"Buaji!! you are here.See this Mehendi, isn't it beautiful? And my lehenga, it's so beautiful!" chirped Khushi, cheerfully.

"Yes, dear! They are beautiful but not as beautiful as you" said Buaji with tears in her eyes, seeing her baby all ready to leave her.

"Buaji? Are you crying? Why are you crying?" asked Khushi, worried.

"Now you will leave me na? And live in this house, that's why?" replied Buaji.

"why should I leave you, Buaji? I will came daily to visit you! And don't be happy I will be always there to trouble you. I will not leave you so soon." tweedled Khushi.

"Of-course, Madhumati ji, not only Khushi, you can also visit her whenever you want to meet your niece" interfered Nani.

But before Buaji can reply to anyone of them they heard the knock at the door.

"Nani ji, Pandit ji is calling the bride!" informed HP.

"OK! You go we are coming and tell your Arnav Bhaiya to come downstairs" said Nani and with that the three ladies started towards the Mandap.

Arnav was just looking around the circus' and suddenly he felt the air around him change and he looked towards the stairs. He peered towards the stairs, mesmerized! Doll! She was looking like a doll, just like the dolls his Di use to decorate like brides in their childhood. Fragile and delicate dolls! A very beautiful doll! He was just looking at Khushi, fixedly but suddenly his eyes fell on his Nani who was looking at him and he immediately averted his eyes from Khushi.

Nani took Khushi to the Mandap and made her sit on the small stool kept there and asked Arnav to join her. Arnav came and sat beside Khushi and with that Pandit started chanting the mantras.

They stood for the Pheras and started circling the holy fire making the seven sacred promise of marriage to each other. Arnav looked towards Khushi, she was smiling! Why is she smiling? Is she happy with this marriage? Why she will be happy with the marriage? Than he looked around, everyone's eyes were on them. She is smiling because everyone is looking at them, deduced Arnav his own conclusion.

But always upright Arnav Singh Raizada was so wrong in deducing the reason behind Khushi's smile. She was smiling because she has a very rare aspect which is not found in many.Due to which She always has a smile on her face. That smile was not because everyone's eyes were on her but because she has faith! She has faith, in her Devi Maiya and most importantly in her, that she can make her present and future beautiful come what may! She has faith that whatever happens, happens for the best! She knows that if she will have faith in her and her Devi Maiya, she can make her life beautiful in every situation. And so was the smile on Khushi's face! She has faith, faith that she can make her life beautiful!

Soon the Pheras were over and they sat again to continue the other rituals. Arnav put the Mangulsutra around Khushi's neck and the vermillion on her partition.

And they were announced Husband and Wife, tied for seven lives!
